Yep
It's the year 2132. One hundred years ago, the first wave hit. A new virus, spread by mosquitoes, caused the Infection. Every month, comes another wave. A wave lasts for 24 hours. The sky turns brown, full of mosquitoes, biting anything in its path. The next wave is Wave 1200. The Affected goes through three phases.
Phase 1: The Sickness.
The Affected start to show signs of anorexia, vomiting, body aches, feverish with chills, insomnia, and huge fatigue, leading into the next step. Lasts till the next wave.
Phase 2: The Coma.
The Affected fall into a coma for a month, until the next wave.
Phase 3: The Elimination.
The Affected wake up, with determination to kill. They are easy to identify, thin, pale, and bloodthirsty.
At Bar Harbor Mall, lives one of the last survivor groups. They live concealed from the outside world, hiding from the Affected and the Waves. One day, someone knocks on their doors. Roamers. The society of Bar Harbor Mall believe Roamers are myths, created to give hope to the survivors. Roamers are people who survive on the Outside, roaming for a cure.
So we actually want to use that one, or should we not use Poppy’s plot without asking? We can always still go post-apocalyptic even if we do something else.
I'm here. We should change up the plot, but I still like the apocalypse idea.
Yeah I agree
I agree. Maybe using that as a basis but also switching up some of the main points
