"Oh," Jayde said in realization, noticing the project wouldn't be so easy after all.

“But, I have a recipe for gingerbread, and although it doesn’t taste amazing, it holds together really well.”
"Well that's fine. Where do we make it?"
The teacher had apparently been listening, because he said, “Recipes and game play by Friday. We start cooking Monday, in the kitchens.”
“There’s the answer to that.”
"Well, I guess we start planning on how we want it to look."
Finn nodded, bringing his sketchbook out of his backpack.
Jayde took out her laptop and split screened it. One side was to track what they were using and the other to make a digital copy of what Finn was drawing.
Finn sketched out s normal gingerbread house design, then began making small edits to it, for more stability or aesthetically pleasing ness.
(Morning!
I'll post my character!)
(Sounds good!)
Name: Abbie Rinn
Age: 16 and a half
Grade: 11th
Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity: Straight, Female
Looks: Latina. Tan, has brown-blonde curly hair, little to no curves (which she is self-conscious about), big brown eyes
Personality: Sassy, kind when she wants something or likes you (love interest or friends), relatively smart, kinda stereotypical
Other Important Facts: She came to Winchester a little later than everyone else because her school in Arkansas was doing some important testing when the invite was sent out. She had to stay until she'd taken all the tests. She was prom queen and expected that she would be popular here as well, but soon found she has no chance of being the popular pretty girl she was in Arkansas compared to the other girls.
(Ok, so, you’re welcome to put her in either this class or the next one, because at Winchester either the grades in most classes(like math) are mixed, or Finn is in an advanced class with the older grades)
(Alright! Thanks!)
Suddenly, Abbie burst through the door. She stumbled a bit but quickly regained her balance. That's weird. I'm usually great at walking in Stilettos. Clearing her throat, she looked at the teacher. "Is this art?"
Most of the class laughed, and the teacher replied with, “No, I’m afraid not.” Finn was one of the few not laughing, and he just ducked his head, continuing to work.
Abbie smiled, already preparing a fierce reply. "Okay. Sorry, I don't know my way around. It's my first day. We were having SATs at my old school, and I couldn't move without taking them. I enjoy the tests; They're pretty simple, wouldn't you agree?" She looked around at all the students. "Or maybe that's just me. I am in the top ten percent, after all."
Abbie felt no remorse about her little white lie as she flipped her hair and threw a wink in the direction of a boy. She was in the top 45%. After that laughing stunt, though, the students don't need to know that. "Could you please direct me to advanced maths?"
“You’re here.” The teacher said.
"Huh?"
“Advanced math? It’s here. This classroom. At this moment.”
"Hm. Where shall I sit?"
“Anywhere. Would anyone be willing to let her into their group?”
Finn hesitantly raised his hand.
Eh. Cute enough. Abbie approached his desk.
Finn smiled shyly and said, “Hi… I’m Finn. This is Jayde.”
"Hey, Finn," Abbie said flirtily. "Hi, Jayde. I hope we'll be friends."
Finn looked down at his phone again, saying, “Do you know anything about the project?”
"No."
