Liam turned his phone off and out it to the side, sighing, "I still think it's not true."
Liam turned his phone off and out it to the side, sighing, "I still think it's not true."
"It's true, Liam. Accept it!" Kasey laughed, placing a quick kiss on his cheek.
"Yeah fine fine, maybe I'm a little popular but it doesn't mean anything." Liam said, sighing.
"Well, maybe not yet, but it might someday," Kasey said with a smile.
Liam shrugged, "Maybe, I doubt it though."
"Well, you can still hope, but I wouldn't suggest setting your hopes too high, just in case they don't get net," Kasey said, still smiling.
"Trust me, my hopes weren't high in the first place." Liam mumbled, rubbing his face.
"You look tired… Are you?" Kasey asked softly.
Liam sighed, "No, no course not… maybe a little but I'll be fine."
"You can sleep if you want to. It's not that big of a deal," Kasey offered with a shrug.
"I'm fine, Kasey. Really but thank-you. I might pass out later on but I'll be fine for now." Liam gave Kasey a smile.
Kasey smiled back. "Okay. If you're sure."
Liam nodded, "Yeah. So, what do you wanna do? I mean you can't really do much but…"
Kasey shrugged. "We could play a game?" she suggested.
"What kinda game were you thinking?" Liam asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I dunno. Like a card game? Maybe Uno?" Kasey said.
"Sure, where are the cards? Or are you going to get Harper to bring them?" Liam raised an eyebrow.
Kasey grinned. "I'll get Harper to bring them."
HARPER!!!
Harper jumped, both physically and mentally, at Kasey's loud mental voice.
What do you want this time?
Uno? And my decks of plain cards, too, please?
Sure, Harper's inner voice sighed.
Liam chuckled, "He's bringing them I take it?"
"Yup," Kasey confirmed as her brother walked into the room, carrying the asked-for items. She grinned and thanked him as she took the decks of cards.
Liam shook his head and smiled, "He really is your slave."
"Yeah, yeah… Just have fun or whatever," Harper said with feigned annoyance before he left the room.
Kasey laughed. "All right. So Uno, then?"
Liam nodded, "Want me to shuffle and deal?"
"Sure!" Kasey chirped with a grin. She looked down at Quake and picked her up, moving the kitten so that she was out of the way.
Liam smiled and started to shuffle the cards, once that was done he dealt a hand out to Kasey and one for himself before placing the extras down, "Right, you first."
