"Great." Liam grabbed a plate and placed the bacon on it, bringing it over to the table and placing it in the center.
"Great." Liam grabbed a plate and placed the bacon on it, bringing it over to the table and placing it in the center.
"Mmm, that smells so good," Kasey said, closing her eyes as she took in the bacon smell. She opened them again to smile at Liam. "Have as many pancakes as you want. I made plenty."
Liam nodded and smiled at her before sitting down, "Alright, the pancakes look great by the way." He said, taking a few.
(Sorry, I fell asleep! Lol.)
"Thanks. I hope they taste as good as they look," Kasey said as she sat down across from Liam and placed two pancakes and a couple of slices of bacon on her plate. After drizzling maple syrup on the pancakes she started to eat them. They were actually pretty good!
Oh, thank goodness.
“These are great!” Liam said, taking a couple bites of the food.
"Thanks. I… don't really cook for other people, so I'm glad you like it," Lilah admitted shyly. She giggled and pointed to Harper, who was somehow still asleep on the couch. "Except for that freeloader. But he's a special case."
(Lilah??)
Liam laughed, “That’s true, I’m glad you cooked for me, though.”
(Holy frick. I'm in too many RPs…)
Kasey turned back to smile at Liam. "You're a special case, too. But a different kind of special," she said quietly.
(Same)
“What kind of special?” He asked, raising an eyebrow but a smile was plastered to his face.
Kasey blushed, even as her smile grew.
"He's the brother-gets-to-sleep-on-the-couch special, but you… You're the stop-to-pick-flowers, stay-up-late-watching-movies-and-cuddling, falling-asleep-together kind of special."
Liam smiled, “I’m glad that’s the kind of special I am, you’re pretty special too.” He said, before finishing his food.
"Thanks," Kasey murmured as she finished her food. Where had those words come from? She was never able to express herself that way, so how did she now?
Liam took another pancake and quickly ate it. Once he finished, he took his place to the kitchen and started to clean up.
Kasey helped clean up, a ghost of a grin still haunting her lips. She put the leftover pancakes in the fridge, along with the maple syrup, then went back to grab her plate. She set the plate down in the sink and started washing what dishes were there.
"Thanks for helping clean up," she said over her shoulder as she scrubbed a plate.
“It’s no problem, I’d be a pretty crap boyfriend if I didn’t help.” Liam said, laughing slightly as he dried some of the plates.
"Well, I would have done it myself, but it's nice to have the company," Kasey said. She smirked as an idea came to her, and she scooped a handful of bubbles out of the sink. Tossing them at Liam, she giggled and continued washing dishes.
“Hey!” Liam wiped the bubbles off his shirt and grabbed a handful himself, throwing it at Kasey.
Kasey giggled again and tossed more of the bubbles at Liam. She put down her sponge and hurried away so he couldn't throw more bubbles at her.
Liam laughed and picked up a handful of bubbles and ran after her. Once finding her he embraced her and spread the bubbles over the side of her face.
"Ah! No!" Kasey squeaked, still laughing. "No fair!"
"You started it," Liam laughed with her and hugged her tighter.
"You rubbed them on my face! I just got them on your shirt!" Kasey argued, trying to catch her breath.
“I don’t care.” Liam said, “It’s a good look on you, my dear.” He let go and walked back to the kitchen.
Kasey let out an amused huff and wiped the bubbles from her face. She followed Liam back into the kitchen and playfully stuck her tongue out at him before going back to washing dishes.
“Love you too babe.” Liam said, smiling as he went back to drying the dishes.
