(Can I stalk?)
(Can I stalk?)
(Of course!)
(Sweet, thanks!)
Time blinked their eyes open, looking around with blank eyes. The first thing they noticed was the lack of smell, they couldn't smell their magic in the air. This isn't good. The thought, calling their thoughts out to the others in their mind. "Anyone?" Time muttered under their breath, hands clasped together. They would sit here and wait then.
Already a transport could be seen making its way towards Time, the tires sending up dust as it sped towards them. It drifted to a halt, two soldiers stepping out. One looked a little shaken but tried to hide it as they both made their way over to Time.
Cicada had woken up blinking a few times under the harsh sun. This was something she would find in Fadul, but not in her home. She didn't recall anything happening, but when she tried to move was placed into excruciating pain. She took a deep breath and reached out in her mind to see if Flare was there, only to get no response. Cicada started to panic slightly and reached her hand to check, and yes, her hair was still its dark red. She tried to summon her fire and nothing popped out, her voice whispered out, "What in the Spirits is happening to me?"
Cicada was left in silence for a long time, the sun continuing to beat down with the still distant sound of an engine. Eventually, the transport assigned to her appeared, though it slowly crept towards her, pace extremely slow.
Aron stared around, eyes narrowed. Where in the world was he? Nowhere in Kevra, that was for sure. But…where, then? He frowned, crossing his arms and looking around. One hand dropped to touch the sword hilt by his side.
It wasn't long before Aron would be able to see a vehicle in the distance, quickly coming towards him. It was going extremely fast, occasionally jumping up a couple of inches when it hit a bump in the earth. It came right at Aron, stopping only a couple of feet in front of him.
"Goddamnit G!" A soldier cursed as they stumbled out of the back. Another soldier followed, scowling.
Satsu looked at the two soldiers, and began to shake, trying to make his hands flame, and flame again. His core temperature was the same, but he couldn't flame. He was afraid what that meant. "W-who are you guys whaddya want from me, whatever my sister did I had no part in it!" He knew his sister Evelyn was a complete and utter idiot and made a LOT of mistakes.
Aron had no fucking clue what was going on here, but damnit he wasn't going to be taken without a fight. Not again. "Who are you?" He demanded, golden eyes narrowed in suspicion. Well, he was going to put up as much a fight as he could. If he could just get his hands free–!
(remember your hands are tied behind your back)
(oh fuck. Let me edit that rq then)
(Just wanted to make sure things go smoothly. Tis chill)
Cicada watched in utter agony as they crept closer. She didn't know what that sound was or what that thing was, but even she could tell it went faster. She called out while glairng at them, "Who are you? Where am I? Well, more like what are you?"
Syzen was on his knees and was hurting from a fall that had just happened earlier. He looked around and realized that he wasn’t where he was before. He wanted to use Scorpio’s Antares ability to light up the dark and soon realized that he could not use his abilities.
He was a bit confused at first but then it him when he saw that his hands were tied behind him with no way to unlock them.
”Oh boy… we’re back at this again aren’t we?” he said to himself as he slowly stood up.
In another room, Noel was pacing around quite nervously. It was a weird sensation to see himself not infecting every wall he touched. It seemed… natural for once. He knew that something was wrong with his ability but he didn’t mind as much as he should. Though his hands were tied and cuffed, it didn’t mean that he couldn’t br— never mind, Noel is too weak physically to break handcuffs.
The two soldiers glanced at each other, then continued towards Satsu without a word. Both grabbed one of Satsu's arms and began to drag him towards the transport.
"Com'on, hurry up!" The soldier driving called out, popping the 'p' and thrumming they're fingers on the steering wheel. "Ya'll know I was in the middle of something when we got called out to pick up this damn charrie, so git to it!" The soldier that had called out groaned a little, and the two continued towards Aron, both grabbing onto him. They ignored his questions, pulling him towards the transport.
Finally, the transport came to a halt in front of Cicada. Two extremely bored soldiers stepped out. One even yawned as they started over to Cicada.
"You going in town tonight?" One soldier asked.
"I dunno. Maybe?" The other soldier shrugged.
One soldier stepped into the room Syzen was in, and a very familiar one at that.
"I'm surprised to see you again," soldier S said casually. "Charries don't usually return."
A soldier came barging into the room with Noel, slightly it off breath. They took a moment to collect themselves, looking Noel over once.
"Interesting indeed," they mumbled to themself.
Cicada rolled her eyes and glared at the two. Her eyes flaring up slightly, despite not having her magic it still had a large impact on her. She spoke to them in a highly sarcastic tone, "Oh yeah ignore the strange girl. Well, you two are the freaks here, not me. In your strange thingamajig."
One of the soldiers glanced at Cicada, sighing.
"Dear God, why do we always end up with the medieval, anti technology charries? I'm tired of explaining shit to them." The other soldier shrugged.
"Deal with it, Z, cause that's the way things are." Each soldier grabbed one of Cicada's arms.
Satsu happened to shrug them off. "I-I can walk on my own ya know!" 'Just follow what they say and don't cause trouble. Shouldn't be too hard right?' He sighed as he kept going, just trying to keep his head low. He hoped he wouldn't be alone.
Aron struggled as best he could, eyes narrowed and frowning. "Your machine is ancient." He complained. In his own world, the technology was far more advanced than that…thing. "It still runs on four wheels and gasoline? How quaint." a sneer poked into his voice as he masked the fear that he was going to be captured again.
"I didn't ask to be stuck with you either," Cicada snarked back. She felt fear start to rise in her chest as memories flashed through her head, but kept them quiet. She needed to watch and adapt at the moment. Given the strangeness of all of this, she could very well be in Fadul which was much more adept than Spirits was having a technological outbreak earlier on its founding along with the dessert. These people weren't like the sandy-colored elves that lived in Fadul, so she kept her voice quiet as she added on, "Or wherever we are in the first place either."
"Whatever," the soldier on the right mumbled. They continued to carry Satsu to the transport, the soldier driving pooling they're head out.
"Could you hurry up? Me and G were dealing with some stuff when we were called out!"
Oh? And what do your machines run on? Magic sunbeams?" The soldier on the left rolled their eyes.
"D, zipit. Does 'no engaging' ring a bell?" The soldier who had spoken first sighed as they lifted Aron up into the transport.
(Ooh, imma stalk)
Satsu sat on the floor and swished air in his mouth, and then he began to count down backwards from 100. In french. Taking deep breaths. He couldn't have an anxiety attack right now. So he was just using his oh-so-familiar calming methods. If only his friend Alex was here. That'd be amazing. Someone there to help him. But no. He was all alone, and had social anxiety, and he didn't even know what was happening.
