"I just got a feeling," Zhavia looked down at James. "What was he like?" She didn't know if that was a good question to ask right now, but she was genuinely interested
"He was a nice guy, but also stupid. More of a "if I die guy" then "I'm going to die." But he was really funny and sweet. He was also really stubborn too, I think the fact we were both assassins made it easier too, we would always compete. But he was always there for me….and you know I wasn't there for him." She found herself rambling on and on about him. Immediately she stopped before taking a sharp intake of breath. "Lets go."
He sounded nice. "Yeah, let's go." She stood and followed behind Zoe.
Cyrus made sure there was not blood on his hands from his own injuries, then he pulled out some gauze and made sure to press it down into the wound.
"What hit her?" Cyrus asked, angry at whoever hurt Eira. "She's bleeding a lot. She'll probably be okay, but wow…"
"she was stabbed…"
“H-he came up behind me, I-I didn’t see him.” She said quietly, her breathing still raged.
"Eria calm down, you're increasing your blood loss…"
"I was… just trying to make sure there's nothing that could be stuck in the wound. Like… like how my crossbow has barbed bolts that are dangerous to remove. It's definitely better this way," he explained, "So yeah, you'll be okay, Eira."
Eira nodded and tried to slow her breathing down normal. It took a few tries but soon it was fine.
"Back," Zhavia said. She looked down at a puddle of blood laying under Eira and saw that Alexander and Cyrus were trying to patch her up. "Oh, God, what happened?" She asked calmly, cause freaking out would only make things worse.
“S-stabbed.” Eira stuttered out, glancing at. Zhavia for a. Moment then winced at the pain the shot through her.
Krista was collapsed underneath a tree. She had sustained quite a few wounds, namely slashes and stabs that cut through previously existing ones. Most of her right side was drenched in blood from a few well placed wounds.
“Guys, I probably need medical attention. I’m by the entrance to the forest.” Krista fell unconscious.
Luna figured everyone was out at this point. She lit the lighter and dropped it on the ground. The papers caught fire and she made her grand escape to where everyone else was at the moment.
“S-stabbed.” Eira stuttered out, glancing at. Zhavia for a. Moment then winced at the pain the shot through her.
“Woah relax!” Sparrow said and grabbed a pain killing injection. She pushed the medicine in the wound and then used a tissue regenerating cast to wrap around her abdomen.
“T-thanks.” Eira said to Sparrow when she injected the pain killers.
"Is there anything I can help with?" It didn't feel right if she wasn't helping somehow.
“T-thanks.” Eira said to Sparrow when she injected the pain killers.
“Don’t mention it. What are the odds that both my best friends get hurt on the same day?” She laughed
"Keep watch," Cyrus told her, "I don't think we need any more hands here. Wait… Krista? Where'd she go? She's been really quiet this whole time… Did anyone notice she wasn't with us? I took my earpiece out already, so if she said anything I didn't hear."
“I didn’t hear anything.”
Cyrus put his earpiece back in. "Krista, can you hear me?"
Nothing. He looked over towards the trees and could make out the faint outline of a body.
"Well, I think that answers out question," he said seriously, starting to jog over. Please don't be dead.
At this point, Cyrus was stumbling; the bleeding still hadn't stopped, and it was making him dizzy and disoriented. He figured he needed to rest more than anything, but that wasn't such a good option at the moment.
"My ear piece broke." She grabbed ed few medical supplies. " I'm going to go look for her." Zhavia ran off go look for Krista.
“Be careful!” Eira called after Zhavia and Cyrus with as much as energy as she could muster.
"Zhavia, that's her, I think," Cyrus told her, pointing at Krista's form beneath an oak tree. He kept going, but had to slow his pace when his lightheadedness worsened. He tried to keep his breathing and his emotions in check, but there was just so much going on, Cyrus felt like he was going to explode.
