Blaine grinned at him a moment longer before finishing her food. She stood and grabbed her plate.
"Let's go," she said, still grinning.
Blaine grinned at him a moment longer before finishing her food. She stood and grabbed her plate.
"Let's go," she said, still grinning.
"You're very excited, aren't you?" Andion said, placing his plate away before heading out of the hall.
"You have no idea," Blaine said laughing lightly.
Andion shook his head, smiling as they headed to meet the kids who weren't at the training ring when they arrived, "Late as always."
"Can you blame them? They are kids, after all," Blaine chuckled. "If anything, this is the last thing they want to do."
"Probably, if I was their age I certainly wouldn't-"
Andion was cut off by the kids skidding to a halt in front of them, all chattering loudly about something or another.
Blaine chuckled as she waited for them to arrive. When the kids were all standing in front of the pair training them, she clapped her hands loudly to gain their attention.
They all looked to her with wide and excited eyes, grins plastered across their faces as they waited intently.
"Good morning," Blaine greeted them with a smile. "Let's head inside. Andion and I have a surprise for you all when we're done training."
"A surprise? Why can't you just tell us now?" One of them asked, followed by variations of that sentence by the others.
Blaine loudly clapped again. When the kids had quieted down again, she spoke.
"I'll tell you all as soon as you've finished training. It's incentive to do well."
They all groaned and muttered something as they headed into the training room for practice.
Andion chuckled, "Ah… kids."
"They're great," Blaine chuckled. "So impatient sometimes, but then they get so excited about whatever it was they couldn't wait for."
Andion hummed in agreement, "True true, even if this lots a handful they're still fun to train." He replied, walking towards the group.
"That they are," Blaine agreed. "Are we going to slip up? Or train them together this time?"
"I think together. Pretty sure the guys want to see if they can beat the girls in something." He replied, grinning.
"They can try, but the girls can be pretty fierce," Blaine laughed. "Maybe we should keep their egos up a bit, though."
"Maybe, but it's more fun for us this way," Andion replied.
"Alright guys listen up. First things first is once you've stretched, we'll do girls against boys in hand to hand combat. No weapons as, from me and Blaine, last time we fought with weapons we got hurt more then we wanted."
The kids all nodded.
"Pair up, or we'll pair you up ourselves," Blaine threatened half jokingly.
The kids all scrambled to find partners, most of them paring up with someone around their age. It was lucky they had an even number on both sides.
"Were you planning on us demonstrating to them?" Blaine wondered quietly as the kids were still finding partners.
"Maybe… depends on how good they are. They have some idea but maybe after one round we can demonstrate something." Andion replied.
"All right. Sounds good," Blaine said with a nod. Once the kids were all paired up, she nodded to Andion to direct them.
"Alright, I hope you all know basic hand to hand combat," Andion said and they all nodded, "Good, let's start with that for round one then if we aren't happy we'll give you a demonstration."
The kids nodded and they took up a fighting stance.
"And begin!"
Blaine watched the kids as they sparred. Where she could, she helped kids out, and she gave advice when she couldn't help.
