Andion shrugged, “I-I’m not sure in all honesty. Maybe become a blacksmith, hands on work or something like that.”
Andion shrugged, “I-I’m not sure in all honesty. Maybe become a blacksmith, hands on work or something like that.”
"Well, you'd certainly be strong enough for it," Blaine said, rubbing the back of his neck a little as she grinned up at him.
Andion chuckled and little and lent into Kasey’s hand, “Aha, that’s true. Even if this job doesn’t work out then I know blacksmithing will be an option.”
Blaine softly laughed a bit.
"There we go. We could just have normal lives, leave work and not have to worry about it," she said, though she was only half joking.
“Wouldn’t that be nice. Maybe some day soon. Hopefully soon, I don’t think I want to stay working for a Thranion much longer…” Andion muttered, shaking his head slightly.
"As if he would just let us leave," Blaine muttered.
“You never know… if not we could always just cut contact, move to a different territory… or continent.” Andion suggested quietly.
"Are you serious about this?" Blaine asked in a whisper, liking up at him curiously. "He could have us killed if we just leave. You know that, right? He would find us…"
“I mean… partly but it’s only if you wanted to. You could stay but there’s nothing here for me anyway. I don’t care if he could kill us, it’s a risk worth taking.” Andion replied, looking down at Blaine softly.
"You– You want to run away from here… With me…" Blaine sighed and stopped dancing, pulling away from him slightly. She crossed her arms over her chest and looked down, biting her lip. "I don't know, Andion. I– I want to come with you, really I do, but… What if he finds us? What then?"
Andion sighed and rubbed his face, "I don't know. You don't have to come. Gods I don't even now if I'm 100% sure if this is going to happen. If he finds us… we'll fight, like we normally do but it's late, and we shouldn't be thinking about this now."
Blaine nodded slowly.
"Yeah… Let's just go home. We can talk about this more later," she said quietly.
Andion nodded, "Yeah, let's head back." He said, gently taking her hand and starting the walk to the guild.
Blaine leaned on him slightly as they walked, holding his arm with her free hand.
Could they do it? Could they really just leave the guild? If they were found, could they fight back?
Blaine sighed and shook her head a bit. She needed to just stop thinking about it for a while. It could wait until morning.
Andion yawned and rubbed his face with his free hand. Man was he tried. He yawned again and tried to focused on one foot in front of the other. Once he was back at the guild he could sleep.
It wasn't long before the metal gates of the guild came into view and Andion pushed them open, leading them inside.
Blaine yawned after Andion, then shook her head as she remembered something.
"I guess our plans for tonight will have to be put on hold, huh?" she mused with a small smile.
Andion chuckled, "I guess so. There's always tomorrow night." He said with a smile.
"Mm, that is true, I suppose," Blaine agreed.
"And the many nights after that." Andion added, his smile turning into a grin.
Blaine smirked at him.
"Yeah. So long as we don't fall asleep first," she agreed with a wink. "Come on. I'm exhausted."
"Me too, maybe not tonight, I'd rather just sleep at the moment," Andion said, walking to his room, "You staying here tonight or not?" He asked when they reached his door.
Blaine yawned again and shrugged.
"Why not? I'm already here, and this way I can stay warm."
Andion chuckled, "Yeah, 'cause I'm your own personal heater." He muttered, opening the door and slipping off his shirt, slumping onto the bed.
"Yes, yes you are," Blaine said with a grin as she climbed in with him. She sighed and laid her head on his chest. "It must be because you're so hot."
Andion hummed in agreement, "Yeah, it must be that." He said, tangling his legs with hers.
