Andion made quick work of his side of the field, counting the arrows in the center. Once he had made his way to Blaine he sighed, "How many 'ave you got?"
Andion made quick work of his side of the field, counting the arrows in the center. Once he had made his way to Blaine he sighed, "How many 'ave you got?"
"I had… 7 from the girls and 9 from the boys," Blaine said, doing the math in her head.
"I've got 7 from the girls and 10 from the boys which means the boys win this time." He said grinning.
Blaine clicked her tongue and slowly shook her head with a slight chuckle.
"Darn," she said sarcastically. "I don't think we ever established a prize, did we?"
Andion shook is head, "No, we didn't. Have any in mind?"
"Nope," Blaine said, popping her 'p'. "How about you choose since your team won?"
"Problem is, I have no clue what the prize should be…" He said, shrugging a shoulder.
"Well you're helpful," Blaine chuckled. "What if… The boys get to be free of cleaning up equipment for today? But you still have to pick your own prize because you should pick what you want."
"Alright, that sounds fair. I'll have to think on my prize and get back to you." Andion winked at Blaine before heading back towards the group of kids who all waited nervously.
"Blaine, you can do the honers of telling them who won."
"It would be my pleasure," Blaine said with a slight laugh before turning to the kids. "The team who hit the bullseye the most was the… boys! Congratulations, guys."
The boys cheered and hugged each other while the girls pouted and mumbled things about them cheating.
"Girls, I'm sorry but you're going to have to clean the equipment today." Andion said which earned them more groans.
"Just think of this as incentive to do better next time," Blaine encouraged them.
The girls mumbled some more things and headed off to do their work while the boys ran off to do whatever they were going to do.
Blaine laughed a bit as she watched both groups walk away.
"Don't you just love kids?" she asked wistfully.
"I mean… soooometimes…?" Andion shrugged, "Annnnyway, what were you think to do for the rest of the day?"
"Okay, obviously they're not all perfect all the time, but they can be really cute," Blaine said with a smile. "I have no idea what to do. Maybe we could just rest today? We've been busy for a few days."
(I kept losing my train of thought. Lol.)
Andion nodded, "That sounds like a good plan, we should head to the library, it's gonna be warm today and that place is always cool."
(aha)
"Sure," Blaine agreed with a nod. "And then lunch. Should we go out again or just eat here?"
Andion shrugged, "Let's just eat here since we eat out yesterday," He gave Blaine a smile, "To the library then?" He raised an eyebrow and held out his arm.
"To the library," Blaine agreed with a slight laugh as she took his proffered arm. "And then… Who knows what we'll do. Maybe we'll conquer the world with our new knowledge."
Andion chuckled, "Maybe we will, maybe we'll just sleep or cuddle or something." He said as he walked towards one if the biggest part of the guild.
"Hm, yeah. I suppose those options could work," Blaine chuckled as they walked.
Soon the massive wooden double doors appeared, along with the faint carving on them too, "I never figured out what those symbols meant…" Andion muttered as he pushed the doors open.
"Maybe we can find something about them while we're here," Blaine suggested with a shrug.
"It could be a fun project, even though I've tried looking but didn't find anything." Andion replied.
