"Yeah, bud. I'd suggest you get lost." Her hands instinctively clenched into fists as she glared at the one named Itian.
"Yeah, bud. I'd suggest you get lost." Her hands instinctively clenched into fists as she glared at the one named Itian.
Itian laughed, and ruffled her hair. "Such spirit! Then again, you've seen many spirited women, haven't you? Men too." He said, looking at Winter. "She must be very special, Winter. That's what you call yourself now, right?"
Winter stiffened.
"Don't touch me, you creep!" She yelled at him, slapping his hand away. "And for the last time," she narrowed her eyes at him. "Leave. Him. Alone." Astra was curious as to what was going on. She almost didn't want to intervene to see what would happen. But her loyalty would never die, especially for someone that she worked so hard to get.
"Go away." Winter hissed. "This isnt the deal."
Itian laughed, and flicked his forehead. "I'm hurt. But fine. I shall leave."
"And never come back, you jerk!" She stuck her tongue out at him and crossed her arms like a child.
Itian smirked, and vanished.
Winter sighed softly.
Astra raised an eyebrow at him. "So… you wanna talk about it or do I have to annoy you until you will?"
"Neither." He replied.
"Come on, Winter. That looked serious! He literally vanished!" She gestured to where the man was standing before. "What's going on?"
"It's…complicated." Winter replied, not looking at her. "Very, very complicated."
She stepped into his view, trying to make eye contact with him. "Well, explain it. We have time."
He looked away. "No."
She gave him an exasperated sigh. "You do realize I will annoy you until you tell me, right?"
"Yes." He replied.
She raised her eyebrows and grinned. "Then why don't you surrender right now?"
"Because." He replied. "It's too important to just tell you. I don't hardly know you."
She sighed, "well, that's why we're friends, dummy." She lightly shoved him and started to make her way towards the exit. "Friends get to know each other better."
He followed her. "It isn't important for you to know." He replied.
"Oh, I bet." Astra rolled her eyes and made her way back to the restaurant. "The guy back there didn't mention at all, so it doesn't concern me one bit, does it?" She spoke sarcastically and placed her hands behind her head.
He blinked. "Nope." He replied with a shrug, a tiny smirk flickering over his face.
"Don't be stupid, Winter," she sighed. "If that's even your real name."
"Its not." He replied softly. "I don't even remember my real name anymore, so don't feel bad." He didn't know why he was admitting that, but he was.
Astra turned around to look at him. "Damn, you've got amnesia? That sucks."
"… something like that." Winter said with a shrug.
She looked at him with sympathetic eyes and walked over to Winter to link arms with him. "Let's go get you something, ok? Are you hungry?"
