Arthur got to the bar a few moments later, ignoring the sign saying that it was closed he slipped inside. Seeing no one he slipped to the employee olny door and slipped inside. Again, there was no one to be found. Frowning he spotted a cloth on the floor, picking it up he sniffed it, gagging."Chloroform.." he said aloud, what is this doing in a bar?? Unless…. he paled. Shifting he sniffed around on the floor, picking out Mikhail's scent, and someone elses.
Richard (Mikhail's father) glared at him before punching him in the jaw. "You really want to die, don't you? Or are you just protective of George?" Mikhail rolled his eyes. "I've been trying to die since the day I was born because of you."
Arthur growled, shifting again and hurrying out the door, following Mikahil's scent out of town. He knew this was a direction that Mikhail probably wouldn't go in as he reached the edge of town. Following the scent into the trees it wasn't long before he came to a small cabin. Summoning his sabre, as it was the only weapon on him, (It's the metal band on his wrist, it's true form is of a jagged edged Sabre) and slipped inside. Silently he creeped into the kitchen, noting the bottle of chloroform.
"That's funny." Richard said with a slight laugh, making a cut across Mikhail's cheek. Mikhail winced in pain, instantly going quiet when he heard something. Richard had also seemed to have heard it so he put a gag over Mikhail's mouth before heading downstairs with the knife in his hand, letting Mikhail squirm around helplessly.
Arthur heard something from upstairs, tensing as he turned to face the stairs.
Richard slowly walked down the stairs, holding out a gun he had grabbed earlier as he looked around. Mikhail stopped struggling after a minute or two and bowed his head as he stared at the ground. How would anyone know about this place?
Arthur saw the shadow, seeing the gun he put up an invisible shield. He knew he couldn't do much more without transforming, and if Mikhail was here… then that was the last thing he wanted to do.
Richard made it down the stairs and instantly pointed his gun at Arthur. "Who are you and why the hell are you here?"
"I came looking for a friend" he said, his voice low and ominous, his eyes shadowed. "His name's Mikhail, I don't suppose you know where he is?"
Richard's face quickly softened, he was a master at lying but his skills had gotten a little rusty over time. "Oh, I'm sorry for pointing a gun at you," He quickly apologized, lowering his gun. "I don't think I saw anyone here."
Arthur's sword lowered, but his invisible shield didn't drop. Carefully he let the man's scent surround him. Blood. He could smell it on him. "Liar." he said, "Where's Mikhail" he glared at the man.
Richard titled his head slightly to the left in confusion, just like Mikhail. "I don't even know who this Mikhail is."
Arthur glared at him, "I can smell blood on you." he said, "And I found this at the bar." he held up the napkin. "Mikhail went to the bar last night and never came home. Where is he." the last sentence was a demand, firm, cold, and his tone held the warning of a very clear threat if he didn't get a straight answer.
Richard pretended to look even more confused. "The napkin isn't mine and I don't even know where the bar is."
"Quit lying to me!" yelled Arthur, "I tracked Mikhail's scent here. He was here. Possibly still is. I want to know where he is right now!" his tone was frustrated, and held an ominous warning as his violet auras flared.
Richard chuckled and rolled his eyes. "Fine, I have him. Why do you even care? He's my son, I get to do whatever I want to him."
"No you don't" growled Arthur, glaring at him. "Now where is he?"
Richard glared back. "Yes, I do. He is my son, not yours, and not anyone else's son."
"Parents are supposed to protect their kids, not kidnap them." said Arthur flatly, "That and I can smell blood on you, three guesses says it's Mikhail's…."
"Well, what else do you want me to do when he left me to rot?" Richard asked, looking a bit mad now. There was a sound heard from above, which sounded like something being broken and something else falling at the same time.
Arthur glanced upstairs, and before Richard could react he was dashing up them. Paling when he saw Mikhail tied up, chair fallen over he quickly knelt by his side, pulling out the gag before cutting the bonds.
Mikhail looked up when he heard the door open and was very confused when he saw Arthur, thinking he was daydreaming or something. Once the ropes were off of Mikhail, he quickly collapsed in Arthur's arms, managing to look up at him. "A-Arthur….?"
Arthur pulled him into a hug, furious but gentle. "Yeah.. it's me, you're gonna be ok…"
Mikhail managed to wrap his arms around Arthur and buried his face in his neck. "W-what about Richard?"
"Downstairs." said Arthur, pulling the other close, trying to comfort him as he swallowed his fury. "We're getting you out of here… and I'm never leaving you alone again…"
