Jordan narrows his eyes. The guy did have point. That was his motive. But he could tell there was something more. Something the guy wasn't saying.

"Again, at least I'm not out searching for people I'll never find," Seneca sighed, "What about you? You're all alone here?"
“I have a few friends left, and my cousin. But she’s farther up north,” Eli explained. “Both my parents died from the sickness, and I don’t have any siblings.”
"Sorry… I know the only thing worse than the sickness itself is watching someone you love die from it," Seneca replied, "But anyway, what are you doing out here? Looking for supplies? Personally, I was just trying to find other people. It's been a few weeks since I've seen another person."
“Both. I have a good amount of supplies from the suburbs, but it’s good to have extra,” Eli started. “But I was also looking for others. It gets uncomfortable, being alone and everything.”
"Oh, for sure," Seneca said, "I think it's probably better to stick with other people, but then there's the plague… that complicates things a bit. At this point, I'm not sure if I can catch it again. I imagine there's some amount of immunity you get, should you survive, but maybe I'm wrong."
“Hopefully you are immune, if that is possible,” Eli answered. “Are you sure that you’re completely cured?” He asked, arching a brow in question.
"I mean, I wouldn't go kissing me or anything if I were you, but yeah. I'm mostly sure," Seneca answered, "It's a virus, so it kind of goes away on its own, but then that leads me to wonder if it's like mono or chicken pox, and the virus kind of lays dormant but never truly goes away."

"Can you let me go now?" Luke spat. He was feeling really uncomfortable with his arm being over the other guys arm.
Jordan releases the guys arm but was still pinning him with his knees, "What else is there-." His sentence was cut short by a bought of coughing.
“Don’t worry, I’m not going to,” Eli chuckled at the first bit, but quieted at the other part. “You seem to know quite a bit about diseases, well, more than me at least. Parents doctors or something?”
"No. I'm just the paranoid type and I read a lot about that kind of stuff," Seneca said with a slight laugh, "Neither of my parents even went to college."
"Dang man, cover your mouth will you." Luke stretched his arms out now that they were free but was still pinned on his knees. "And there is nothing important in my bag. Now get off of my knees."
"Im not on your knees. Now why do you need the medicine so-." He was cut off again by coughs.
“Ah, I see,” Eli said with a slow nod of his head. They approached a house, it seeming to have taken a bit of damage, mostly flood damage. It would have been a pretty looking, one floor home, one that could have been remodeled from the 1900s. “Here it is,” he said with a slight grin as he walked up the cracked driveway.
"Well, your holding my knees down by a part of your body so technically you're on my knees. And I need the medicine because I feel like I'm sick and that it will get worse." Luke lied about the last part but he was sure that his voice didn't change tone to indicate that he was lying.
Jordan narrows his. He had delt with people like this before, "Lying wont do shit for you."
“Nice,” Seneca muttered, “More of a home than I’ve stayed in in a while.” He followed Eli up the driveway.
(How should i add cerulean in?)
"Yes it will. Now get the heck off of me!" Luke tried too get himself of the ground, but with his knees down like that, it was impossible.
"Tell me first. It's someone in your family isnt it? Someone else has survived?" Jordan could read the other guy like an open book (Sorry if Im making him to op).
(How should i add cerulean in?)
(Just throw him into the city)
"No, it's not. It's for me." He looked to the side to think of how to change his tone to a sad one so this dude would let him go. "I'm in the lowest stage of the plague."
“Nice,” Seneca muttered, “More of a home than I’ve stayed in in a while.” He followed Eli up the driveway.
Eli nodded his head slowly. He unlocked the door and went inside, shutting it once Seneca was inside as well. “Hungry or anything?” He asked.
"Uh huh. Are you trying to make me feel sorry for you? Im on the fourth stage of the virus!"
Luke finally overpowered the guy and got his knees free. "So, what. Of course you know how it feels like to have the virus so I'm just gonna keep it." Luke ended the sentence by leaping off of that building and onto the one in front of it. He landed on a small ledge and built up enough momentum to jump over to the next few ledges until he made it to the top of a jagged building. He was about thirty feet away from the man so by the time he got to a safe enough distance he waved back and continued running.
