"Our parents are totally gonna kill us." She joked. Enyln looked around for a hiding spot and pointed to a narrow-ish alleyway. "Quick that way before they catch up."
"Our parents are totally gonna kill us." She joked. Enyln looked around for a hiding spot and pointed to a narrow-ish alleyway. "Quick that way before they catch up."
"Not if you want to end up where we just were. Here, this way." He grabbed her hand and led her down a narrow street that came out to a pavilion. "I never come here anymore, they won't find us."
"Perfect" Enyln said a bit breathless. She leaned agents the wall and laughed lightly. "My dad used to do this kind it stuff, when he was alive. One time he let me tag along and my mother nearly had a heart attack." She smiled a little at the memory. "So! I think I made a great first impression, and you've changed your reputation."
Sawyer laughed as well and sat down, leaning his head back. "You shall be known now as the girl who ran away, and I will be known as the reckless asshole who followed her."
"Wonderdul! So how long before they find us? Or do we wait till night fall to sneak back?" Enyln flashed a mischievious grin at Sawyer.
"They'll finish the ceremony without us, so there isn't as much chaos, then probably send someone to find us. So we don't have to leave quite yet, or we could go now and back to the castle." He grinned back.
"And do what? Sit around and wait for our punishment? We are going to enjoy of freedom for how ever long it lasts." Enyln nodded her head, the grin still stuck on her face.
“Okay then. What do you want to do?” He laughed a little.
"I don't know. I didn't think we'd get this far. What do you do for fun around here?" Enyln cocked her head to the side.
“Uhhh..that’s a difficult question..I don’t really come here that often anymore.”
"Well then what did you used to do? There's gotta be something that'd be fun, or at least make going back to the castle seem fun."
“There’s a bakery down there if you’re hungry. Uhh..there’s a bunch of shops and stuff nearby?”
"Sounds like a plan." Enyln pushed herself up and peeked out of their hiding spot. "Lead the way."
“Okay then. Act like you’re meant to be doing this and nobody will question you. Here, take my arm.” He said, walking out and offering her his arm.
"Our clothes will give us away. They're kinda fancy you know." Enyln said this as she took his arm.
“Yes but what if we’re just out and about in the town. Just because we’re royalty doesn’t mean we can’t do things.”
"True." Enyln shrugged before grinning again. "Shall we?"
“We shall.” He smiled and walked out of the pavilion with Enyln be his side. He pointed out a couple roads and where they went as a few people smiled and nodded to them.
Enyln listened carefully, memorizing what he said about the roads. A smile never leaving her lips. "How good is this bakery you spoke of?"
"Um only the most amazing bakery in the world." He said as they approached a road with shops and pubs lining the sidewalks.
"Better then the royal baker? Or do you guys not have one of those?"
"No, just a cook. He's great though." He said as they approached the bakery. Sawyer glanced back and stopped walking, letting go of Enyln's arm. "You go inside. I'll be there in a minute."
Enyln cocked her head to the side and raised an eye brow. "What, is it the girl from before?" She joked before turning to make her way inside. "If I get kidnapped its your fault."
Sawyer glared at her briefly before running back down the alley where she had disappeared. "Alana!" He called, no sign of her.
Enyln fished a few coins from a bag she'd stashed in her skirt and baught some bread. "Thank you." She said to the baker.
