Enyln followed, every now and again looking behind herself. "What do you think our punishment will be? Heck, I'm sure mine will be worse."
Enyln followed, every now and again looking behind herself. "What do you think our punishment will be? Heck, I'm sure mine will be worse."
“No he’ll just yell at us for a couple minutes. It’ll be fine.” Sawyer said as they walked down the long drive in front of the castle.
"That's all?" Enyln cocked her head to the side. "That sounds like the best thing ever!" She smiled brightly and started to skip.
“And then proceed to be kind of an ass for a week.” She finished, the guards giving them looks as they walked into the castle.
"My mother will guilt trip us." Enyln shrugged.
“And I’m sure I shall be welcomed back with great happiness.” Alana grinned. They went into the main room and flopped down on a couch.
"Looks like you're the only one gaining something out of this." Enyln sighed.
“Don’t worry Enyln, it’ll be fine.” Sawyer said.
"Yeah, I'm sure it'll be." Enyln sighed again and took the opportunity to slouch as she sat.
About an hour later they heard shouting coming from the main hall and Sawyer glanced up. “Here we go..” His father stormed into the room and stopped when he saw them sitting there. “There you are! Finally we were looking EVerywhere for you! How many times have I tol- Alana?” He frowned slightly as he spotted her with them. She grinned and stuck her hands in the air. “I’m back!”
Enyln stealed herself for the yelling, but ended up smiling when the king stopped short. She glanced over at Alana, and then the king.
The king sighed. "So you are. What…joy..Well anyway..What were you guys thinking?!" He yelled. Sawyer looked back up at him. "We were bored." He said blankly, glancing over at Enyln.
"We saw an opportunity." Enyln shrugged. "And yes we where bored. But think of it as brother sister bonding time."
Sawyer nodded. "Yeah. Bonding" His father rolled his eyes. "You can't just abandon things like that. What will the townspeople think of you two?" Sawyer smirked a little. "Reputations.." He said quietly.
Enyln bit back a laugh and bowed her head. "We're sorry your highness. it won't happen again." though her tone said other wise.
"It better not. Alana, you can leave. Sawyer, Enyln, to your rooms." He snapped as Alana frowned. "But I just got here!" She said, climbing onto Sawyer's back as he stood up.
Enyln sighed and stood. She made her way up stairs and to her room. Not retreating what they'd done.
Sawyer grunted and walked slowly up the stairs with Alana on his back. "See, wasn't too bad.."
"No it wasn't. Lets plan our next great idea." Enyln grinned widely.
"I'm glad she's your sister." Alana whispered. Sawyer turned his neck to look at her. "Watch out. If you're not careful you'll get banned from the castle." He laughed.
"Even if she does get ban we could always sneak out to see her." Enyln shrugged with a grin.
“Of course we would.” Sawyer grinned and Alana smiled triumphantly.
"Exactly." Enlyn continued to grin. "Well I'm going to go hide in my room and await my mother. See y'all in the afterlife."
“Bye!” Alana waved a little before Sawyer threw her onto the bed and sat down next to her.
Enyln went to sit on her bed but her mother soon entered, a frightening look of angry on her face. "What was that about?" She demanded.
"What was what?"
"The ceremony! What where you thinking! I know for a fact Sawyer didn't come up with that!"
