Sawyer leaned back on the bed as Alana laid down, staring up at the ceiling. “I’m sorry.” She said. “For what?” He asked, glancing down at her. “For leaving without telling you.”
Sawyer leaned back on the bed as Alana laid down, staring up at the ceiling. “I’m sorry.” She said. “For what?” He asked, glancing down at her. “For leaving without telling you.”
Enyln cocked her head to the side, "you know, Mother, its not like anyone got hurt. And we don't hate each other as much anymore. So you can calm down because it was harmless fun."
Her mother shook her head before giving one last glare and turning and leaving Enyln in her room.
“No, it’s okay. I understand. I Promise.” He smiled over at her and she looked up at him, smiling a bit as well. “Good. So, what have you been up to since I’ve left?”
Enlyn sighed and plopped down on her bed boredly. Surprised her mother hadn't decided to start yelling.
“Nothing much. It’s boring without you.” He sighed. Alana laid down across his legs. “I’m sure it was, but you have Enyln.”
Enyln went to change, pulling off her dress from the ceremony and replacing it with a plain, not so fancy, dress.
Sawyer laughed a little. "Yeah. Okay. Sure." Alana looked up at him. "Why not? She seems nice enough."
Enyln sighed and decided to go see what Sawyer was up to. She pulled on the door to her room, and noticed it was locked. "Great, yeah. Of course Mother would request to have me locked in." She paced for a few moments. "Sawyer?" She called through the door.
Sawyer sighed and pushed Alana off his legs, walking over to Enyln's door. "What? Your door is locked."
"Yeah, dare I try the window?" Enyln looked over at the window again. Sizing it up, knowing she might be able to squeeze out of it.
"No, don't. Alana can get the key." He said as she darted out of his room, smiling. "Yeah I can!" She ran off, Sawyer smiling after her.
"Wonderful!" Enyln smiled and turned her gaze back to the door. "See, I told you my mother overreactes."
"Didn't expect her to lock you in your room though." He said as Alana came back holding the key. She unlocked the door and stuck the key back in her pocket.
"Thanks Alana, Sawyer." Enyln rolled her eyes. "But yes, I very much assumed she would. But I hoped she wouldn't."
"You should be grateful Alana knows how to get the keys." Sawyer laughed, walking back into his own room followed by Alana.
"Pick pocket? Or thievery?" Enyln cocked her head to the side and followed also, not wanting to have a chance of getting locked in her room again. "Though I guess its one in the same."
"The guards have the keys so you just hug them and make them all flustered and stuff then take the keys. It's quite simple." She said, flopping down on top of Sawyer, making him grunt.
"That's, oh my gosh. Can we make the guards flustered for more things then just the keys?" Enyln grinned wickedly.
Alana snorted and Sawyer rolled his eyes. "It wasn't a good idea getting you two together was it?"
"No Sawyer, it really wasn't." Enyln rubbed her hands together, still grinning. "We can break into the jail and- do y'all even have a jail? Do y'all have witches? We should break them out. Imagen the chaos." Enyln was talking fast, and tripping over almost every other word, but one could tell she was plotting.
"And then they'll ban us from the kingdom but we'll come back and cause havoc throughout the kingdom as bandits and stuff. And Sawyer will help us infiltrate the monarchy, right?" She said, her eyes sparkling, getting a groan in response from Sawyer.
Enyln clasped her hands together. "That sounds like a wonderful idea! Sawyer you have no say in the matter."
"Uh Enyln? Once my father dies, you are the monarchy. You'll be queen."
"Darn, that's right." Enyln sighed and sunk to the floor. "Y'all don't happen to have a founten of youth laying around do you?"
"If you get banned from the kingdom before he dies that means i'm king though."
