Sawyer spotted Alana and ran over to her and pounced on her back. “Lani! Why are you avoiding me?! Why are you here?!” He exclaimed. She shook him off but was smiling. “I’m sorry I was going to come see you later but well, you seemed busy.” Sawyer grinned widely at his friend. “No, well, sort of but not really.”
Enyln leaned on the wall inside the bakery and decided to have a conversation with the baker, which surprised them. "So, I've heard your the best. That true?" The baker nodded their head hesitantly.
“So, where’ve you been?” He asked, walking back down the alley with her. “Oh here and there, but dad found a job near this town so I could come see you.” She replied, grinning over at him. They came back to the bakery, talking happily.
Enyln continued her chat with the still shocked baker till she saw Sawyer out side. She grinned but stopped short when she saw him with someone. "Huh, so mister baker," she turned back to him. "Any recommendations?"
Alana spotted Enyln and smirked. “Who’s thaaaat?” Sawyer rolled his eyes. “You can calm down she’s my..sister..ish..” Alana walked forward followed by a slightly irritated Sawyer. “Hi!”
"Hi?" Enlyn cocked her head to the side smiling. "So, you and Sawyer?" She shot a glance Saywers way that seemed to say 'I approve.'
Sawyer burst out laughing and Alana turned around to slap his arm. "Hey. I'm not that bad." She turned back around to Enyln. "No, just friends." She said as Sawyer continued to chuckle a bit.
"Well I mean if y'all where together I'd totally cover for him when he wanted to see you." Enyln joked. "Any way, hi, I'm Enyln."
"Hoowww nice." Sawyer rolled his eyes and Alana grinned and stuck her hand out. "Hi Enyln! I'm Alana, current very bestest friend of your brother here." She gestured to Sawyer who nodded happily.
"Huh, I didn't believe he had friends." Enyln smiled. "But hi Alana, you've know my brother," the words felt sour in her mouth, "long?"
"You know? Just for a second there I thought you were kind of okay." Sawyer said, rolling his eyes. Alana laughed a little. "I've known himmmm….seven?..eight! Eight years."
"So are you trying to tell me he hasn't always been, well you know." Enyln shot Sawyer a grin. "But eight years! Wow!"
Sawyer glared back at her and Alana laughed. "Yeah he wasn't always an ass. He used to be so happy. We used to go out in the garden and pick flowers and stuff. It was fun."
"Aw, little Sawyer sounds so fun." Enyln laughed before narrowing her eyes, "so y'all used to cause mischief right? Anything that could still work today?"
"Hmm depends. What were you thinking?"
"Hmmm, maybe give the guards a hard time? ruin the ceremony?" Enyln grinned Mischiefly. "Or just go around town." She shrugged.
"They've probably noticed we're gone by now and probably panicking.." Sawyer said.
"My mother is oblivious. If she has realized she's probably glad." Enyln shrugged. "Though I'm pretty sure your father is going to murder us both."
"Oh I miss your father! We should go see him!" Alana suggested happily, grinning widely.
Enyln looked to Sawyer. "I guess we should welcome our deaths with open arms."
"We have no choice." Sawyer said and Alana walked out of the shop, dragging Sawyer along with her.
Enyln sighed and followed. "I bet they'll cut the ceremony short because of us and your escape."
“Or pretend nothing happened and contin-“ He looked up at his father yelling their names. “SAWYER?! ENYLN! Where are you?!”
"Nope nope nope. We run." Enyln sounded panicked, and her eyes darted around. "We sneak back to the castle. Sound good?"
Alana laughed quietly. “You are awesome, let’s go.” She said, grabbing Sawyers hand and running out behind Enyln.
