Cyrin laughs softly, “Really?”

"Yeah, definitely. There's not as much pressure." He frowned. "Not like there really was any before- I've just never been on an official sit-down-at-a-restaurant date."

Cyrin tilts his head slightly, “Oh- Why would there be pressure?”

"I don't know, I'm mostly just nervous. Which is really weird, cause we've literally already gone out, so…" He shrugged

Cyrin nods slightly, laughing softly, “Yeah. . . Well, you don’t need to be nervous. Okay?”

"Okay," He smiled, "Thanks"

Cyrin nods, watching him for a moment, and then smiles again. “Okay. . . So, question. If money had nothing to do with it, what would your job be?’

"Oh, easy. I'd be a stage actor. I love the feeling of performing for an audience, and the idea of being able to do that for the rest of my life is incredible… What about you?"

“I’m already doing it. Dancing.” He smiles slightly.

"That's really cool! Right now I work at Barnes and Noble, which is really cool, but it gets boring."

“How are you calling a book store boring?” Chin asks, tilting his head. “Just, literally, read a book.”

"We're not allowed to unless we're on break." Adam sighed. "All those books, and only ten minutes at a time to read them all."

Cyrin laughs softly, “That sucks.”

"Yeah. We do get really good discounts, though. And we get access to new books a day early."

He smiles, “That’s cool. . .”

(Yep.)

Adam nodded. "It is. You should come in sometime while I'm there, we could hang out while I'm on break or something."

Cyrin nids, “Sure.”

At that moment, the waitress came over again. "Are you guys ready to order?"

Cyrin nods, “You know what I want, and he knows.”

The waitress turned to Adam and said, "What can I get for you?"

"Can I get the Pesto Genovese?" He asked, praying he had pronounced it correctly. The waitress nodded and wrote something down on her little notebook

Cyrin smiles at Adam and picks his glass up, taking a long drink.

"Alright, I'll get that right out." The waitress smiled and left, taking the menus with her.

Cyrin looks at Adam, “Ask me something.”

"Alright, what's the best thing that's ever happened to you?"
