Adam nodded, and started walking in a random direction
Cyrin follows him, silent.
Adam was silent too, looking around at the buildings around them, and the occasional car or pedestrian.
Cyrin sighs, “Sooo. . . Want to grab dinner?”
"Oh yeah, I kind of forgot that humans need food to survive." Adam smiled. "What do you have in mind?"
Cyrin looks at him, “You say that like you’re not human.”
(I’m sorry, but is he not human? I though they were both humans-)
(He is- Sorry, I'm realizing now that what I said implies that he isn't human…)
(Naw, it’s fine. It’s funny)
"I'm actually a filing cabinet, I wasn't supposed to tell anyone. But I like you, so now you know."
Cyrin blinks once and then laughs softly, “Wow-“
Adam laughed. "Yep. And by the way, now that you know my secret, you're stuck with me."
Cyrin grins, “I suppose I can do that. Come on. There’s this nice restaurant I like to go to.”
"Ooh, fancy. Lead the way, then"
Cyrin laughs and keeps walking.
As they walked, Adam couldn't help but stare at Cyrin, and think, How in the world am I going out with the coolest, most attractive guy I've ever met?
Cyrin looks at Adam, grinning slightly and then lightly pulling on his hand towards a small restaurant.
"This looks nice" Adam commented, taking it in
Cyrin nods, “It’s family run. Italian.” He smiles and waves to the hostess and points to a table, asking over to it and sitting down.
“Friends of my family, so, I always get this table, they never use it for anyone other than family or friends.”
"Wow, that's really cool. The closest I ever get to something like that is getting a discount at Cafe Rio because my best friend works there." Adam smiled slightly. "She's cool, you should meet her sometime. I bet you would get along. She's majoring in dance."
“She sounds like the female version of me.” He mutters, grinning.
"Yeah, well, you're definitely hotter." Adam smirked slightly
Cyrin blushes, “I-. . . What?”
Adam realized what he had said and also blushed "Nothing."
Cyrin clears his throat and leans back in the booth. The small table was tucked away in a back corner of the restaurant, the only light was a bright lamp above them. He looks back at Adam, “You can’t take it back, by the way.” He winks a a waitress walks over and speaks in a heavy Italian accent.
“What can I get for you to drink, sir?” She asks Adam, already knowing what Cyrin wanted.
"Oh- um" he coughed "Just water, please."
