Cyrin chuckles.

The waitress nods, “Of course, I’ll be right back with your drinks.”

Cyrin watches her walk away and then looks at Adam, “Are you okay?”

"I will be." Adam smiled slightly

(It’s fine)

Cyrin nods, watching him for a moment.

"So. Um. This is a nice place."

Cyrin nods, “Mhmm. . .” He looks at the table, “So. . . Uh-“

"Yeah." Adam was suddenly very interested in a small dent in the wall.

Cyrin rubs the back of his neck, laughing softly. “So. . . WHat do you like to do on a day to day?”

"Well, right now I'm volunteering at a community theatre, the little kids are doing 101 Dalmations and I help with keeping the kids under control. It's tech week for them right now, so that takes up most of my time. Other than that, I mostly just hang out with my friends and go to work."

Cyrin nods slightly, “So, you like kids?”

Adam grinned, "Absolutely! Sure, they can be absolute monsters, but they're also really sweet, and they say the funniest things. The youngest one there is only around four, and she's absolutely adorable"

Cyrin nods, “They can be. But honestly, I don’t spend much time with kids. I’ll help with the occasional dance class or something, but I’m usually too busy.”

"Fancy." He sat there in awkward silence for a bit

Cyrin shifts, slightly uncomfortable.

Adam was saved from the awkwardness of the situation by the waitress returning with their drinks. "Thanks," he said

Chris smiles, “Thanks.” He takes his tea and takes a long drink.

The waitress nods, “Do you know what you want to eat?” She asks Adam.

"Oh, shoot-" Adam grabbed a menu. "I think I need a minute"

The waitress nods and walks off.

Cyrin watches for a moment and leans back.

Adam scanned the menu, trying to decide what he wanted to get.

"What's good here?"

“Uh. . . Everything really. . . I usually get the chicken parmesan.”

"Hmmm…" He looked through the menu for a few more seconds before saying "The pasta looks really good… I think I'll get the pesto."

Cyrin nods slightly.

Adam set his menu down, and was quiet for a few moments.
"Sorry I'm being so awkward, I've never really done this before…"

Cyrin smiles, “It’s fine, neither have I. . .”

"Well, that automatically makes me feel way less awkward." Adam smiled slightly
