James followed Maria out of the room
(What shall I have Nikki do?)
Axtin shrugged casually. "That's fair," he replied, lounging lazily in one of the chairs still. "However, they aren't going to be able to show much if there aren't any opportunities," he reminded the other demon. He actually wouldn't have minded the extra guest. He wasn't sure about how Aria would respond however.
Cicada sighed and looked off to where the younger had gone, "Do you want to go after her?"
Nikki looked at Cicada, wanting her to kiss her again.
Aria continued to stay silent, rocking on her feet. She did her best not to just march back to the house from where they were, glancing over at Axtin impatiently.
Axtin stuck his tongue out slightly in thought before nodding. "You never know, Cicada, dear. After all, the main reason we're on good terms now was through persistence," he said with a grin, thinking back on when the two had met. The female demon was definitely not the type to care for flirty men to say the least.
(I'm thinking as if seeing as Axtin is pan, he probably would have found Cicada quite pretty and attempted to hit on her once or twice before she told him that she had no interest in men? Idk)
(also apologies, I'm currently grounded and I wanted to stick my response in before I go. I will be back during the week, just not weekends)
(That's fine. Also Cicada is pan too lol.)
Nikki made a piercing glare at Axtin, not caring if he noticed. She knew what was happening, he was flirting with Cicada, and Nikki was not having it.
Cicada let out a short chuckle, "Your persistence you mean? It was not appreciated by the way, though I am glad we are on good term now."
"Persistence?" she asked, not really caring what the others thought of her at the moment. Cicada was hers and hers only
Cicada leaned down and whispered in Nikki's ear, "It was a long time ago darling. Don't fret over it."
"No" she replied, slipping out of her grip and walking over to the wall.
Cicada sighed as she watched the mortal leave her quickly moving up next to Nikki again. The girl probably didn't understand Cicada had been flirted with numerous times and she had rejected most if not all. It wasn't that she enjoyed that others chased after it was just a fact of her life, "I understand if your 'upset', but you need to stick next to me."
She scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Then show me that you won't leave me for him" she replied, glaring at her.
Cicada smiled and kissed Nikki's neck softly, "I never planned to in the first place."
She sighed softly, tilting her head back to give her lips more room, "O-ok" she replied, her breath hitching
Cicada pulled back and looked down to Nikki, "I just want you to know, I have no intentions of leaving you."
"Y-yeah, just please don't stop" she replied, whining slightly.
He was about to reply but Axtin's smile diminished at the sight of the mortal's sudden glare. Raising a brow, he watched as his friend went to comfort her. The little one's name was Nikki wasn't it? Rolling his eyes, he really didn't care what the mortal thought at the moment. Grinning again, he turned a hand to Aria once again.
"You needn't be so quiet anymore. You're in the clear," he said. "I best head after… Maria was it…? You're welcome to come with me, or you're welcome to stay here," he finished, giving the girl the option.
(if Axtin could hear their conversation he probably would have laughed and said something like, "Listen, I'm not taking her from you, shortie.")
(That's fine. Also Cicada is pan too lol.)
(oh lollll)
(Probably lol.)
"Y-yeah, just please don't stop" she replied, whining slightly.
