Cicada shrugged, "What can I say? I'm possessive."
Axtin simply grinned. Another thing the two had in common, though it seemed the mortal in the other woman's arms had adjusted more easily than Aria was. Then again, he was quite happy that the mortal acted normally instead of a pet as most demons viewed humans.
Cicada had a smile, "Does now work as a get together?"
(I’m back. Sorry I was gone for awhile)
It didn't seem possible, but the male's grin widened. "I don't see why not," he replied.
(going to bed, sorry for coming back only to leave. I'd stay longer but I'm sick)
Cicada could feel her grin grow as well, “Great! My place or yours?”
"Now I feel left out," Maria whined. She felt like the only one who was excluded.
“Wow,”Cicada looked over at the younger demon who had whined, “The world doesn’t evolve around you kid.”
“So are you close to the same age as Lucifer”
Cicada was aware of the other demons still present and shot the mortal a look before talking again to the younger demon, “And you need to keep your human in check.”
He noticed the look and backed off
She sighs. "Trust me, I know this. Don't want Lucifer on my ass."
Cicada nodded sharply, “Good. Now do you have somewhere to be?”
"Not for the moment no." She sighs and stands up. "But I can tell when I'm not wanted."
“Okay then,” Cicada shrugged, “Good bye.”
She didn't say anything as she pulled James out of the room.
"Damn, why the cold shoulder?" Axtin questioned Cicada teasingly.
Cicada had a bit of a smile, “What? I dislike the younglings who haven’t had to work for their place. That’s all.”
Axtin shrugged casually. "That's fair," he replied, lounging lazily in one of the chairs still. "However, they aren't going to be able to show much if there aren't any opportunities," he reminded the other demon. He actually wouldn't have minded the extra guest. He wasn't sure about how Aria would respond however.
(wait wait imma change it)
