(But you in dog form?")
"But you cant walk!" Thatcher exclaimed, "We need to get you to the hospital!"
"I mean… you could probably just carry me, right?" (Yeah)
"But I don't want to hurt you!!" He said in the way people talk to cute baby's like, "Your to, to, broken right now and I, uh, cant do that! What if I drop you or you fall through my arms?!"
Lucas turned his ears back and looked away. "Really, I'm… I'm fine." He smiled weakly. "I don't need to be carried on a board, I don't need any special treatment. Just medical attention."
"Do I look like a doctor to you!?" He cried, "Whatever!!!" Picking him up, he ignored his cry's of pain and rushed over to the medical center.
Don't cry don't cry don't cry… Lucas bit his lip until they reached the hospital, which seemed to be confused to see a dog.
"Can you help me?!" Thatcher asked franticly as he saw a doctor, "A beast attached my dog and I don't want him to die!"
(You want to be Doctor?)
(Yes yes this is my dog. Not my child. Lmao and I guess so)
"Sir, please calm down. We'll find some way to help your dog. Would you like to be transferred to a veterinary office?" Lucas looked up at Thatcher. "I'm not going to die!"
"Yes please! Right now I have no idea what I'm doing!"
"Alright sir, just give us a moment to dial the nearest office." The receptionist picked up the phone. "Hello, we have an injured dog here, attacked by some unknown beast. Can you take him? Alright, thank you." She gave Thatcher directions to the office. "They'll take him."
“To where?”
"To a vet." Thatcher said quickly.
"I just mean that the veterinary office is willing to admit your dog." The receptionist smiled gently.
“Our dog? Ah yes, our poor doggo. Can they heal him?”
"I'm not sure. I'm not a veterinarian." "Can we just go?" Lucas whined.
“WeLl LeT’s GeT gOiNg.”
Tera flew after the group, observing them from afar.
(Here too, fren)
"Ok…" Thatcher muttered, following the directions the doctor gave him, "We'll be at the vet in no time!"
"Mhmm…" Lucas lay his head against Thatcher's chest, closing his eyes and trying to ignore the pain.
Coming to a haul at the front of a large building with a outline of a dog and cat, he nodded slightly before racing in.
"Hello, are you the man with the injured dog?" Asked the receptionist, looking at Lucas.
"Yes!" He said quickly, sowing the person Lucas, "I don't want him to die! He's like a son to me!"
(Lmao 'like a son'.)
"Alright sir, if you'll just follow this nurse, she'll lead you to a room." She gestured towards the nurse, who gave a small wave.
Nodding, he followed her in to a long hall way with door at each side. Walking in to one, the nurses help Thatcher place 'his son' on the table. "You'll be ok." Thatcher muttered, petting Lucas's head.
