“Poor birdie.” Aaliyah murmured.
“Poor birdie.” Aaliyah murmured.
"Cats eat birds and their not "Ohh, poor little bird." And I cant really eat anything else."
Aaliyah crossed her arms, which was a little hard with her doll, then she pouted.
"Don't pout, Aaliyah. It's undignified." Lucas rubbed his temple for a few seconds.
"What? Do you want some??" He held out the 'still alive' bird.
“You’re undignified.” Aaliyah shot.
Lucas flinched a bit, but didn't say anything. He sighed and pulled his hand away from his head. Great comeback as usual, Aaliyah.
"We'll excuse me daughter! Your the one living in an orphanage and not on the streets!"
Aaliyah rolled her eyes and grumbled, “I’ll be going.” And ran off. Not smart. But then again, she was an immature smol 13 year old. -_-
"Aaliyah! W-Wait!" Lucas watched her go helplessly before turning to Thatcher.
"Bird?" He offered, picking up the fidgeting bird again.
"No, I'm fine… b-but shouldn't we go after her?" He turned his ears back.
"Sure thing!"
Lucas nodded and changed back into a dog. He could usually run faster that way, and Aaliyah liked the dog form, so she was more likely to be agreeable.
Following his example, Thatcher turned in to a golden retriever, but on seeing how slow his "son" was going, he picked him up by the scurf and ran after his foster daughter.
Lucas yipped softly when he was picked up, startled, but he didn't move. (Fun fact, there's actually some sort of effect that happens when a mother animal picks up one of their babies by the scruff that makes them not move so it's easier for her to carry them :D)
Aaliyah quietly muttered to her doll as she walked.
(Yep! You told me that when Thunderkit picked up Ashkit!)
"Hold still please!" Thatcher muttered as he raced through the bushed after the girl.
(Oh yeah lol I forgot how many freaking roleplays I'm in)
He did so, not that he had a whole lot of choice anyways. He was lucky that he was small for his age, or being carried would be very difficult.
(Uhhhh. Walk walk walk.)
"Daughter!" He muttered, but she did not hear him, "Ok…" Placing Lucas'e down, he called for her once more.
“What?” Aaliyah huffed, turning around.
Lucas stood silently next to Thatcher, hoping Aaliyah would respond.
"Where are you going?!" He barked, "You don't just run away from your family like that!"
“I’m going to the magical land ignorance.” Aaliyah answered flatly.
