A nervous feeling began to build in Lucy’s chest, and she walked back inside at a brisk pace, feeling uneasy staying at her cabin for the time being. She change her clothes and stuffed a few items into her satchel. She flipped up the hood to her dark cloak before leaving the cabin, walking along the makeshift path to the willow tree.
Sam decided to take a walk, grabbing the rest of his tea and wandering in the direction of the willow. He was tired and annoyed at how small the cabin seemed
Lucy eventually reached the willow tree, pushing back the drooping branches and stepping into the cool shade. She put her satchel down at the base and leaned against the trunk, exhaling sharply in a stressed manner. “Who could have done that?” She murmured to herself.
Sam reached the willow and found one of the girls from before. He planned on just turning around and going back to wander the cabin, but he accidentally broke a branch as he turned around. "Crap…"
Lucy heard a branch snap close by and spun in the direction of the noise. She assumed that it had been the person who scratched out the ward at her cabin, and she took a deep breath to calm herself. “Hello?” She said, glancing around, but her vision was blocked by the branches of the tree.
Sam sighed, subconsciously hunching to make himself seem less tall. "Hello."
Lucy heard the voice and turned towards the direction of the figure. “Who are you?” She asked warily.
Lata looked up, noticing Sam leaving. Shortly after he left, she closed her book carefully, putting it away. Seeing as she would be here until she found a more permanent home, Lata figured she should get to know the other person living here. Lata began making the short journey towards the willow tree. Whether Sam went there or not, that's where she was going. Maybe she could ask Lucy for a peek at the other spells in her book. Lata probably would get confused since her specialty is illusions, but it would be a new experience. Plus, Lucy was a nice person, so it wouldn't hurt to say hello. Especially after following her the day before.
(hi lol) Sam walked a little closer to Lucy. "My name is Samandriel. I believe I saw you earlier."
("Hey today is a catch-up day, do the stuff you didn't get done."

"WELP TIME TO RP ALL CLASS")
Approaching the willow, she noticed both Sam and Lucy already there.
(nice lol) Sam turned to look at the newcomer, hearing her before he could get too close. "Oh. Hello again."
She gave a small nod in greeting and walked up to Sam and Lucy.
Sam sat down and went back to drinking his tea, sitting in the middle of the plants that Orion had grown over what he had burned
Lucy recognized him as the man she had seen earlier. “Ah, yes,” she responded, briefly nodding. She noticed Lata approach and gave her a warm smile. “Nice to see you again, Lata.”
"So why did you run and then return so soon? That doesn't sound like very good self preservation tactics."
“You all seemed unstable, and I needed to get away from my cabin for a bit,” Lucy responded in a level tone, looking at Samandriel.
He made a noise of acknowledgement, sipping his tea. It had gone a little cold, so he put a hand over the cup. His hand glowed for a moment, and steam started to rise from the cup again
Lucy watched the tea heat and her lips pressed into a tight line as she considered it. “How did you do that?” She questioned, nodding at his cup.
"I'm a being of fire. The runes help," he said, pointing to the various tattoos on his body
“I see..” Lucy said, nodding slowly. She grew tempted to ask him more questions, but she went against the thought, not wanting to annoy him. She leaned back against the willow tree, sinking into a sit on one of the roots.
"I might be near blind, but I can read souls. What's on your mind?'
Lucy tensed slightly at his words and exhaled softly, running a hand over her face. “Someone must have been at my cabin, one of my wards was slashed completely,” she explained.
"I could probably take a look at it. If you want I may even be able to repair it so long as it doesn't start raining."
Lucy considered Samandriel’s offer for a moment. It does really need to be fixed.. she thought. “If you would like, it would be greatly appreciated.”
