(Welcome back.)

As the coffee brewed, Lucy sat back by Sam with the bandages. She took the bloodied bandages off of his hand, checking the cut before re-wrapping it tightly.

“Of course,” Lucy responded in a polite tone. There was a beep in the kitchen, and she set the bandages on the floor before standing back up. She went into the kitchen, taking the pot of coffee from the machine. “Do you take creamer?” She called, pouring some of the coffee into a glass.

Lucy walked back into the living room, and handed Sam the steaming mug. She picked up the bandages, rolling them back up. She stepped out of the room and across the hall to the bathroom to put them away.

Sam started to drink it, the heat already helping to fix a few of the larger cracks on his body. Distantly, he could hear the storm beginning to slowly leave. He was glad, eager to leave and not bother this oddly kind human any more

Lucy slipped into her bedroom for a moment, looking at herself in the mirror. She looked at the dark circles that were under her eyes and she exhaled sharply. She picked up a radiant, purple stone and squeezed it in her palm. Something like an illusion was thrown over the dark circles, making it look like they were nonexistent. Her jaw clenched and she slipped the stone into her pocket in case she needed to redo the illusion.

She went into the kitchen, pouring herself a glass of coffee. Samandriel didn’t seem to be one for much conversation, so she simply kept her mouth shut and sipped the hot drink.

(Where do I toss in my character?)

(Like, where will Ree appear?)

Lucy frowned softly and shook her head. “I don’t know many strong illusion spells. And I’m fine, I will later when I’m not busy,” she reponded in a level tone. She appreciated the possible concern, but she had no time to sleep now.

Sam made a noise of acknowledgement, going to take another drink of coffee before realizing it was all gone. "Um. Do you have any more?"

@Desvelarse pets

“Yes, I do,” Lucy responded, setting down her cup on the counter and picking up the pot, refilling his glass. She put the pot back afterward.

(hi Iris) Sam took the cup again, trying not to down the coffee all at once again. "It should be another hour or so before the storm leaves."

Lucy leaned against the windowsill, looking out at the cloudy sky. “Alright. You can rest, or whatever, in the mean time,” she said, sitting back at the kitchen table, her chin propped up against the back of her hand.

Eventually, the rain stopped. Sam could feel his skin melting back together, and he looked down at his cut hand. It took a few tries, but he managed to get his cut hand to melt back together. He stood up, folding the blanket he had been given and setting it on the couch. "Thank you. I should be fine now."

@Desvelarse pets

Lucy looked up from the spell that she was working on and she nodded. “Alright, Good,” she simply said, her fingers tapping rhythmically on the table top.

"Enjoy your spell. I believe it should last for quite a long time." With that he walked out the door, shivering a little in the post-rain cold

Lucy’s jaw clenched, and she continued reading. She felt frustrated when the book kept referring her to the dark section of the book for the rest of the instructions. She shut it sharply, leaning her forehead against her hands.

Sam made his way back to the willow. He would just stay there, but it was wet and cold. He tried to walk back into Orion's cabin as quietly as he could

Lucy grew uncomfortable in the chair and moved to the sofa, taking off her boots. She leaned back, the spell book layed across her chest as she watched the ceiling, the silence feeling suddenly uncomfortable. She sighed and tossed the book aside, walking down into her basement.

The room was dark, even with the few bulbs flipped on. There were many shelves lined with jars and containers of various ingredients and objects. She took the glowing stone from her pocket, setting it on a shelf next to a few identical stones. Her eyes shifted toward the door in the back, but she knew not to try it. The door was locked, and she didn’t have the key to get inside. As much as she would have loved to break it open, it was made of a thick, metal like material.
