"Well, that wasn't very nice," Charlotte reprimanded. "Now, if you're going to cut my head off, you'll need to go find a weapon, won't you?"
"Well, that wasn't very nice," Charlotte reprimanded. "Now, if you're going to cut my head off, you'll need to go find a weapon, won't you?"
The queen shook her head. "Disrespectful, Alice." She said sadly.
Quinn was silent.
"Well, I hardly think you're being much better, what with all the yelling of 'off with your head,'" Charlotte responded plainly.
The queen huffed.
Quinn slipped out of the room, and came back a few minutes later with a pair of guards. "Her majesty needs to be escorted back to her own rooms."
The guards nodded, and escorted the queen out of the room quickly.
Quinn was silent.
Charlotte sighed in relief. "For a moment, I was worried." She looked up. "Why are you still here?"
"Would you prefer I bring my mother back to chop off your head, Charlotte?" He said in a cold voice. The playfulness of earlier was gone, and he stood almost eerily still.
Charlotte glared. "What do you want?"
Quinn shook his head. "Nothing you know anything about, darling." He replied, a ghost of a smirk flickering across his face.
(Sorry I died for so long, I had to unexpectedly go to a friends' house.)
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Right, then. Should I take that to mean you are not going to leave my room?"
(it's alright!)
"Nope." He replied, leaning against the wall again.
Charlotte sighed. "Fine. But at least be quiet so I can read."
Quinn smirked slightly. "Really? You're in Wonderland, and you would rather read a book than ask questions? You really are boring, aren't you, darling?"
Charlotte glared at him again. "I'm not boring, I already know everything I need to from my mother's stories. Also, I assumed you'd be too stuck up to answer any questions I could have."
"Oh? You know everything you need to? From her twenty year old stories? Wow. Amazing. Not like a country or people could change in twenty years or anything, oh no." He said sarcastically.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "People die, towns are destroyed, government changes. I don't care about any of that."
"And six year olds spark revolution." Quinn said dryly.
"Well, have any six year olds sparked revolution since my mother left?" She asked blankly.
"Yes. Your mother." Quinn replied pointedly, leaning against the wall.
"I said since she left, you imbecile. I know what happened while she was here," Charlotte responded with an eye roll.
Quinn smirked. "No, but you don't know what happened after. How Alasdair Hatter, whom your mother knew as the "Mad" Hatter, lead the revolution. He's still in the dungeons. An old, sad, insane man."
"Well, that's a horrible thing to do to a poor old man," Charlotte berated crossly. "What did they want to get out of the revolution, anyway?"
"A horrible thing? This was almost twenty years ago, when he was in his late thirties!" Quinn retorted. "He earned his prison sentence. As for what they wanted…at this point, i don't even know."
(So i had an idea… what if we turned this into sort of like a love triangle sort of a thing? I'm perfectly okay with playing two characters. If you don't want to tho, that's totally fine!)
"Then why I'm Gods name is he still in prison for it?" Charlotte questioned.
(I'm almost certainly down, although I HATE love triangles and they're stressful, I'm down for anything. Depends on who the third person is.)
"Because my mother passed his sentence and I'm not allowed to change it." Quinn replied.
(I'll play the second character, i legitimately hate love triangles with three RPers bc i don't like picking one person over the other XD i was thinking it would be interesting if the other love interest was the son or grandson of the Mad Hatter, bc he would be like…the opposite end of the spectrum from Quinn. It really is up to you about whether or not we do it, i just wanted to throw the idea out there)
"She's practically senile! And you're a king, for God's sake," Charlotte cried.
(Okay yes I like that. It'd be fun if Quinn was lowkey jealous lmao)
