Charlotte rested her chin on her hand and stared blankly at the table.
Charlotte rested her chin on her hand and stared blankly at the table.
Aster and Quinn continued their eating contest.
Charlotte blinked, lost in thought.
Aster was eating faster, but Quinn was keeping a steady, even pace.
Charlotte eventually signed and stood up. "Mind if I go out for a walk? As entertaining as it is to sit at a table and listen to people eating, it's one of my least favourite things to do."
Quinn waved a hand. "Go ahead. Just don't go too far." He replied.
"Ah, damn. Ruining my plans of walking to the ends of the universe," Charlotte snapped her fingers in mock frustration before making her way to the front of the restaurant.
Quinn chuckled softly. "And be back within an hour!" He called after her.
Charlotte waved him off as she exited the building, shoving her hands in the pockets of her dress.
Quinn and Aster continued their eating contest.
(Wanna timeskip? I can do it, or you can)
(Yis, please!)
Charlotte pulled open the door to the restaurant and walked inside, arms wrapped around herself. She reached up a hand to smooth her hair down, as it had been windy outside.
Aster was leaning back in his chair, head tipped up to the ceiling and his arms folded over his stomach. "I feel like a balloon." he grumbled.
Quinn didn't look much better, curled up slightly. "I know what you mean." he said with a laugh.
"I told you that you were going to make yourselves sick," Charlotte rolled her eyes as she sat down.
Aster stuck his tongue out. "Yeah, but I won."
"By half a bowl!" Quinn retorted.
"Your strategy failed, wise one," Charlotte commented wryly.
Quinn groaned. "I know, I know." he replied.
"Well, you can't say I didn't warn you," Charlotte sighed.
Quinn rolled his eyes. "Yeah…but now you have to kiss Aster." he said with a laugh.
Aster smirked at her.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "It's actually quite tragic."
"Hey!" Aster protested. "What do you mean?"
"What, would you rather have kissed me?" Quinn asked, raising an eyebrow and grinning.
Charlotte grinned. "You wish. I was hoping you'd tie so I wouldn't have to kiss anyone."
Aster sighed.
Quinn laughed softly. "Mm. Alright."
Charlotte nodded, picking at a loose thread on the tablecloth.
Aster sighed. "Ughhh. I feel like shit." He moaned, leaning his head back.
"You don't get to complain; it's entirely your own fault," Charlotte said, shaking her head.
