They had stopped again. This time for lunch. Quinn opened the door of the carriage. "Hey, lunch time." He said.
Aster woke up with a start. "Hmm? Oh, okay."

They had stopped again. This time for lunch. Quinn opened the door of the carriage. "Hey, lunch time." He said.
Aster woke up with a start. "Hmm? Oh, okay."
Charlotte exhaled and stood, quickly leaving the carriage.
Aster got up, and followed her out.
Charlotte crossed her arms, looking around her.
Quinn led them into a restaurant.
Charlotte blinked tiredly and followed.
Quinn sat down, gesturing for them to as well.
"Quinn, can I start riding my horse again?" Aster asked. "I feel fine."
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Of course you do."
Aster looked at her. "What? I do!" He replied.
Quinn sighed. "Fine. You can have that foultempered creature back."
Charlotte shook her head. "I've no idea why you would want to ride on that monstrosity."
Aster grinned. "She's a sweetheart! I don't understand why you dislike her!" He replied.
Quinn rolled his eyes. "She's a terrifying creature, born of nightmares." He replied, deadpan.
Charlotte nodded in response to Quinn. "She's a threat to the public safety."
"Lottie, you haven't even met her." Aster replied.
"And thank god for that. It's bad enough seeing her out the window," Charlotte shuddered.
Aster rolled his eyes. "Oh, be quiet." He said grumpily.
"Why don't you?" Charlotte challenged, folding her arms across her chest.
"Because she's my horse! You haven't even met her!" Aster protested.
"And I don't need to get up close and personal with a horse, actual devil-spawn, to know that she's devil spawn!" Charlotte exclaimed exasperatedly.
"She's not devil spawn! She's a sweetheart!" Aster replied.
"Okay, a sweet devil-spawn, then," Charlotte condoned.
Aster rolled his eyes. "Fine."
Charlotte smiled sweetly, a smile she generally reserved for her aunt, and went back to picking at a napkin.
(I gtg to bed now. Good night!)
The waiter came over to take their orders.
Aster and Quinn both ordered the same thing: bottomless pasta.
Charlotte rolled her eyes and told the waiter she wasn't hungry, gesturing for him to move on.
The waiter kept taking orders.
Aster and Quinn looked at each other. "I challenge you to an eating contest. May the best man win!" Aster said with a grin.
Quinn rolled his eyes. "Fine."
