Thank god, Prince said. You were about to be toast.
Shut up, Prince, she retorted. “Let’s go look at our room assignments,” Olive told Risa, trying not to look relieved.
Archer frowned when he saw his name. Oh shit. Not that weirdo from earlier!
(ok so how do the rooms work do they have keys or dna id or smth. also r we going to our rooms now)
(If you want. I think their familiars unlock the rooms for them through magic)
Aster grinned at her room assignment. She looked around the room but couldn’t find Kikiro so she decided to just go to her room, knowing she would probably find her their. Her bags were already in her room. It had four beds and a big window overlooking the school grounds, which Aster eagerly looked at.
Eric decided to postpone going to his room for as much time as possible. Instead, he made his way through the crowd and into a smaller, empty hallway. He sat on the floor and let his head fall against the wall with a thud, sighing tiredly. Navy perched on his knee, picking at the frayed seams of his jeans.
Jasper's room was empty when he walked in. He took the bed nearest to the window - a strategic placement - and dumped all his bags on it. Cleaver bolted out of the smallest one and curled up on the blanket.
Archer sighed and decided he would go to his room now to stake out a spot. Better face it sooner than later, in his opinion. Then he would get the hell out of there so he’d have to see the creepy guy from earlier the shortest amount of time possible. When he walked in, the guy who was flirting with Sylvain was the only one there. Well this is just great, Bellamy crowed sarcastically. Archer set his stuff down on the bed furthest from where Jasper had put his stuff.
“Oh thank god,” Lander said, shoving through the crowd to find Shay. Luckily, their last names weren’t too far apart. “Have you seen who else we have?” He asked. “I don’t want anyone too bad.”
"Looks like I will have another chance." Kikiro told her familiar as she spotted her name. Aster, if it was the same Aster, was going to be her roommate. Friendship wasn't exactly what Kikiro was looking for in her new school, but it would be nice to have. Calcifer hissed, swatting at a mage that bumped into his master and Kikiro spent the next couple minutes lecturing him about proper behavior while on campus. By the time she reached their new room, the little cat had puffed himself up into an angry ball. "Ah–Hello, Aster." Kikiro said, as she entered the room with a small wave. And smile… She hoped it didn't look fake. She was really trying here, but emotions were hard.
Shay's attention went from a slinky looking blonde to Lander. Immediately, he stepped away from the girl and approached his friend without even a good bye to the girl he'd been charming. "There you are! Seems that we are stuck with a pair of street rats. Just our luck. " He wrapped an arm around Lander's shoulders, leading him towards the dorms. "Nothing a word to our parents won't fix."
Unperturbed, Jasper kicked off his shoes and made himself comfortable on the bed. He took out his grimoire and a pen and started scribbling notes for making a sigil. It was a long process, full of steps that were hardly necessary, but he enjoyed it nonetheless. After he drew the 9th line, he ripped out the piece of paper, then set it on fire with a snap of his fingers after committing it to memory. He then manipulated the still-burning ashes into making the same shape on the paper under the one he'd just ripped out. He drew over it again, then blew the ashes off.
Aster grinned broadly. “Kikiro! You’re my roommate? This is gonna be great!” She ran over to her head and started jumping on it. “Maybe this year wont be so bad after all.” The bed was really good for jumping, and Aster got a lot of height.
Lander groaned. “Who the hell thought giving us rats was a good idea?” He grinned at Shay’s suggestion. “Good idea. We can’t stand for this.”
(Lander And Shay: My father will hear about this!)
(Also I have to go to dance class now so play nice while I’m gone everyone)
(and i'm gna go paint for a couple hours)
(Lander/Shay: Two very hot Draco Malfoys.)
(Blair is just a young dumbledoor, honestly. Maybe one of the older weaslys!)
"Ah, looks like we are rooming together," Risa said to Olive, with very little variation in the inflection of her voice, "I can already practically hear the boys complaining about who they get roomed with, after what happened this evening.
Specter flitted in from down one of the halls and landed on her shoulder.
"Ah, there you are. Well, shall we get going?"
Sylvain got his room assignment and walked outside to where Murdoch was waiting for him. He buried his face in the wolf's fur and screamed into it, at this point not sure if he was being overly dramatic or if he just needed to let some stuff go.
"Let's just go to bed," he said finally, "No one will bother me while I'm sleeping, right?"
“Yes, let’s go,” Olive agreed, glad that she was rooming with someone she knew. She began to walk towards where their dorm was. She didn’t really mind that they were rooming with street kids as long as they didn’t get too close to her.
"I will!" Blair called out, sitting on the floor against his bed, he was setting up his usual casting area and altar. "Just don't touch my altar and I won't bother you as much. Plus, your hand will get splashed with venom."
(lol i gtg for a bit too)
"Yeah, yeah… Did you see who we were rooming with? I got my number and ran."
Sylvain invited Murdoch up on his bed and used him as a pillow.
"I messed up royally already, but it's not as if I can back down now."
"Uh… Shay and Lander. They seemed more bearable than that creepy perve." Blair nodded, drawing a few protection sigils onto the floor with chalk.
"Oh, good…" Sylvain sighed in relief, "They didn't seem to be the most savory either, but at least it's not him."
Sylvain rolled over and went through his bag to get something to sleep in.
"Yup, I have some protection charms for you by the way. And Murdoch too, I have a new sigil to put on his collar." Blair said, holding up a notebook paper with a sigil on it.
