@Fraust

"Sure! She's friendly." The blue jay shied away from Levi's hand at first, but eventually warmed up to him.

@PuffPoff

Wait the bird was a girl? Wow, the boys were really outnumbered here. Levi smiled. "My parents had a pet bird before I was born."

@Fraust

"Really?" Robin stroked the bird's head with his index finger. "I've never had any pets actually, my dad's allergic. That's why I have to go out into the forest."

@PuffPoff

"Well, I don't have a pet now. It's just me and my parents."

@Fraust

"Hmm…" The bird chirped happily. "Do you ever go out into the forest? I find it very relaxing. The deer will just walk right up to me. Is that normal?"

@PuffPoff

Levi laughed. "I live really far into the city. I've never even been near the woods." He paused. "And I'm pretty sure that it isn't normal. It's cool though."

@Fraust

"Oh." Robin tried to search for a conversation topic. Why was small talk so hard? It seemed to come so naturally to everyone but him. "Er, what's it like in the city?"

@PuffPoff

Levi shrugged. "Normal I guess. It's pretty busy there."

@Fraust

"Heh, I don't think I'd do well in the city then… Crowds make me anxious." Robin watched the rest of his ice cream melt, unsure how else to continue the conversation. He really was terrible at small talk.

@PuffPoff

"Well, you learn to ignore the crowds after a while." Levi leaned his elbows against the table. "There are lots of cool sights and stuff in the city."

@Fraust

"What about pet shops?" Even though Robin couldn't technically have a pet, he loved to go into pet shops to see the animals. Well, he had mixed feelings about them. He enjoyed seeing the animals, but hated that they were all caged up.

@PuffPoff

"Oh yeah. There's load of them." Levi began whispering. "You have to be careful though. Some of those places are creepy. This one time I walked passed a pet shop and the owner kept staring at me." He shuttered.

@PuffPoff

He made a face at Zoey before turning back to Robin. Levi waited for Robin to keep talking, but he didn't. "Care to elaborate?"

@Fraust

"Well, I… lived on an island for a while." He didn't remember that time very fondly. "It was cliffs on every side, and I'm afraid of heights. One of the guys there thought it was hilarious and kept trying to push me off. Then, as I was having a panic attack after dashing away from the edge, he and his friends would just laugh… It wasn't very pleasant to say the least…"

@PuffPoff

Levi looked down at the table. "Ah sorry for asking. I don't like heights either."

@Fraust

Robin looked away, his face red from embarrassment. "I-I suppose they weren't really strange so much as mean…"

@PuffPoff

"You're telling me. I would have punched them off the cliff." Levi shook his head. "That's an exaggeration. I would probably just punch them."

@Fraust

"I'm… not that brave. I just kept my mouth shut, even though they did it every day. My parents weren't there, s-so they couldn't really do anything about it either…"
