"Honestly, she can claim to be aggressive and tough all she wants, but she wouldn't be able to hurt me as much as I could hurt her," Alastor replied, his smile turning sad as he said that. "Hopefully one day she'll grow up and learn that violence isn't the answer to everything."

"Right right, like you'd let a 'kid' roam around" she crossed her arms. "No ones hurt, no harm no foul".

Devon sighed sadly, " Yeah, some people learn that the hard way."

Lucky didn't pull away from Ariella, but he didn't immediately respond either. "June, I literally told you earlier to go out and look if you were really so concerned about it. And you don't get to say no one's hurt. You don't know that." Her nonchalant attitude towards her own stupidity was a bit much.
He turned to Ariella. "You're welcome to come with. And the only thing I'm instigating is for her to pull her weight instead of sitting here making people angry because she's bored."

Alastor nodded in agreement before getting up off of the floor, the movement making Zeus stand up as well.
"I think some of the others came back," he said, hearing the voices coming from outside of the room. "I was planning on just getting out of this cramped apartment for a bit. Do you want to come too?"

Ariella had pleading eyes as she gripped on to Lucky's shirt. "Please, don't go out there. Ronnie and Lucas ran into someone, there might be more people out there. It's better to stay here where it's safe whole Lucas recovers. Please."
She didn't want to be left alone in that apartment again but she was also scared to leave it. There was at least some sort of protection in the apartment versus being out in the open. And there was safety in numbers. It was better if they all went together.

Ronni watched Lucas sleep, not in a creepy way, but just thinking of all the ways things could go wrong, and hoping that none of them would come to pass. She slept on and off as she sat there, keeping an eye on him.

"Yeah ok, fine, I wouldn't have gotten shot" she shrugged. "but lead the way then mr leader"

Lucky snickered at June, shaking his head at her assertion she wouldn't have got shot, when she nearly did. He turned to Ariella. "Again, you're welcome to come with us, but nobody survives this by not taking risks. She needs something to do to channel all that childish energy."
He glanced at June as he headed out the door. "Let's go." He snagged Sinjoro's reins on the way past, and they headed down the stairs towards the sidewalk.

Devon stood up shakily, "yeah- I um- ok" he nodded slowly. He rubbed his arms slowly, still on edge from his breakdown.

Zeus stood obediently next to Devon, making Alastor smile.
"He likes you a lot," he commented, glancing at Dev. "Zeus isn't normally this loyal to another person."

June rolled her eyes, grabbing her sword from her things she followed Lucky. "I am not scared of death" she muttered.

Devon smiled at Zeus, "Animals tend to like me… which is odd." He hummed. "but uh, lead the way"

Lucky just shook his head to himself, wondering how much work poor Devon had needed to put in to keep the child alive. He looked around and found a billboard, advertising a Dick's Sporting Goods store a couple of miles away.
"If we head that way we should be able to find the tents and stuff you were looking for, maybe some better clothing for when it gets cold and stuff." He started off down the road. If they kept up their pace, they could make the 2 mile walk in less than a half hour, get what they needed from the store, and be back in no time.

June nodded, following lucky, "this is boring" she groaned. She had a short attention span, and honestly got bored way to easy.

"Well, this is what you wanted, so suck it up." Lucky responded, his voice conversational. "At least out here you can be as loud as you like and not be obnoxious to people."

"can't we move faster, Like run? or something?" she jumped up and down a few times.

They were already moving at a pretty quick clip, but Lucky shrugged. "Alright. You run if you like, Sinjoro and I will keep up." He gave her a brief smile. "Just don't get too tired to make it back, carrying stuff as well."

Liam looked around the now empty room(I think maybe) and walked back over to the couch where he sat down and began playing with his gun, removing the full magazine then taking it apart and cleaning each piece with a small rag.

Ariella made a whimpering noise as she watched everything go down. She wasn't being heard. Her words were going in one ear and out the other. Being the voice of reason was stressful.
They didn't need to go anywhere. They had enough. They had enough supplies to last them. She didn't understand what June was trying to prove. Just an ADHD child tired up being locked up inside perhaps. It was dangerous to go out there and even more dangerous with a reckless teenager. What if something happened? What if they ran into others?
She had a split decision to make and it was the irrational part of her brain that had a crush on Lucky that her following the two out the door. She was tired of being left behind but she certainly did not want to be out into the open. Irrational all for a boy.
She tucked herself into his side quietly as they walked. Her nerves were skyrocketing now that they were outside. Every little sound made her jump. Her hands were shaking so she shoved them into her pockets. Perhaps it would have been safer to stay back at the apartment. At least safer for her nerves.

Alastor nodded and walked out into the main room and saw Liam sitting on the couch.
"Hey," he said, walking up to him. "Dev and I were going to head out and wander around for a bit. You want to join us when you're done cleaning your gun?"
