Devon smiled softly at the dog, releasing Alastor to hug Zeus lightly.

Lucas had also woken up, but found his strength was too low to jump up the way Ronni did.
"What the hell was that?" He asked, his voice growing quicker and higher in concern.

Alastor felt a bit disappointed when Devon let go, but he ignored that feeling and reached over to give Zeus a scratch behind the ear.
The dog wagged his tail even more, pleased with the attention.

Devon sighed, releasing the dog, he didn't look at Alastor, "Um..thanks… you didn't have to help me..sorry for clinging to you" he said quietly.

Liam stood up and walked over to June. "Why did you do that?" he asked accusingly.

"meh, you guys were sleeping in the middle of the day, I thought we were planning to leave" she shrugged.

Liam looked at her, amazed. "I get that we were planning to leave, but if you're to physically tired, there's not much you can do."

"do you want to travel at night? I don't trust people at night." she hummed.

"Why not?" Liam asked. "Almost no one travels during the day, and even less during the night."

"… ok I like the dark, some do not" she shook her head.

"And?" He asked. "If you like the dark why don't you want to travel at night?"

Ronni frowned as she turned to look at him.
"Just June being stupid. No worries." She was bringing her heartrate down slowly.
The dumb teenager had nearly gotten herself shot. Alastor had a gun, Ronni did, she was pretty sure Liam did and Lucky looked like if he didn't shoot you he could break your neck anyway.

"because my brother doesn't trust the dark, duh" she rolled her eyes

Devon sighed, releasing the dog, he didn't look at Alastor, "Um..thanks… you didn't have to help me..sorry for clinging to you" he said quietly.

"It's no problem," Alastor replied with a smile. "And yes, I did have to help you because the alternative would've been getting in an actual fight with your sister."

"oh..she would have stabbed you. Unless you killed her, she would stab you…shes violent" he shuddered slightly, "a lot like our mother" he muttered under his breath.

Lucas shook his head.
"That was a stupid idea, that noise she made." He said softly. "She could've gotten hurt."

Ronni nodded quickly. "Lots of jumpy, armed people."
She also didn't understand why June would do it, but that wasn't her concern ust now.
"Try to go back to sleep. Still need you to rest."

He pulled Ariella back into the room their atuff was in, shaking his head. "Teenagers."

Ariella jumped at the sound of crashing and gladly stood behind Lucky. Her body began to shake. Not again. She couldn't do this again.
She barely calmed down when it was revealed to be June. She took several deep breaths, calming her body and mind. She was fine. Everyone was okay. Just a teenager doing teenager things. They didn't think before doing things. Their brain wasn't fully developed and they were normally irrational.
She didn't agree when Luck pushed Nune but she kept her mouth shut. She only gave June a firm but sympathetic look. She came to stand in front of Lucky when they entered their temporary room. "Exactly. A teenager. Doing teenager thing. Don't be too harsh."

"I had a gun pointed at her and a dog fully capable of maiming people right next to me," Alastor pointed out to him, glancing at Zeus who stared back at him with innocent eyes.
"And even if she did stab me, she's just a teenager, not an adult who's been trained to deal with fighting with different types of injuries-" He took a breath and stopped talking, knowing he was getting himself worked up over something so pointless.
"Sorry…I'm just mad at her for doing that because she should've known it would've ended badly. Most of us are armed and I didn't want her to get hurt," he admitted. He glanced at Devon. "Was your mother, like, abusive to June? Is that why she likes violence?"

"my mother got rid of June when she was born, June was raised by our grandmother trained in self defence and fighting…she never met our mother" he said quietly "even if you shot her it would only give her more reason to hurt you"

Lucas smiled and closed his eyes, bringing his legs up and resting his head on his knees.
"Okay," he said in a tired voice and within moments he was asleep.

Lucky heard Liam and June talking out in the living room and stepped back out. He glanced over his shoulder at Ariella. She was right, he couldn't expect June to be mature, but…
It was still irritating, and she ought to know better.
"June, the group already decided to wait till tomorrow. We had a whole discussion about it. Lucas is sick and we need more supplies. Why would you just ignore that and wake everyone up like that?"

June rolled her eyes at Lucky, "Yeah ok but we are not getting more supplies, we are just laying around doing nothing"

Lucky shook his head at her idiocy. "So get off your butt and do something, but don't be a jerk. That kind of thing will get you shot. There are at least 3 people in here with guns, and I don't care how much of a boss you think you are, you're gonna have a hard time dodging bullets."
He turned and went back into the bedroom, grabbing his stuff and stepping back out. "C'mon, June, since you're so set on getting more supplies. Let's go."

Ariella stiffened as she watched the exchange. She wasn't sure what was going on with June. Maybe a child trying to prove themselves. Whatever it was, it was going to get them all killed.
She grabbed Lucky's arm. "That's enough, all of you." She was putting her foot down. "We have enough supplies to last us at least a week. There's no point going out now and risking anyone. When we're on the move we can search for more supplies should we run out of anything. June, I understand that you're trying to help but you're only making things worse. You're a teenager. Let us handle it. Please. And Lucky, don't instigate anything. We just need to calm down. Maybe take a walk around the complex."
