((oof, I forgot, my B))
Sage laughed quietly and tucked Blue closer, turning to the door. She stepped out into the dark hallway and followed the now known path to the kitchen. "What do you eat, little one?" She asked the tiny monster. She looked to small to eat nuggets and if she did, no more than half of one.
(That’s okay.)
The tiny monster squeaked a long, soft tune in response, shutting her pretty little eyes. Blue hooted from Sage’s arms, wiggling around. He seemed to know what the tiny monster liked to eat.
Once she stepped into the kitchen, she set Blue down and looked at him. "You know, don't you. You've seen Werry feed her, haven't you?" She asked.
Blue hooted and bobbed across the kitchen to the fridge, where he tried to open it with his flimsy arms. It didn’t work, of course.
Sage followed after him and opened the fridge for him. "Here ya go."
Blue hooted his thanks and pointed up at a little can near her head. It seemed to be a can of ground green bean and chicken.
"Okay," Sage took the can. "Thanks, Blue." She took out a few nuggets. She counted out 5 for Blue. "I won't overfeed you this time."
Blue hooted softly and took the nuggets, sitting and eating them quickly. The tiny monster sung out a gentle note as it heard a can being opened, her eyes opening.
Sage tossed the top of the can into the trash and hunted a spoon down. "Do you need a spoon?" She asked the tiny monster. She eventually found one and cooed to the creature. "Come on, sweetheart…"
The tiny monster waved her little arms and she crawled forward on the crook of her elbow. She waved her tiny hands tiredly, singing out softly again. She looked hungry, but also very sweet as she begged.
"Aww…" Sage sighed. She put a small amount of chicken and greenbeans on the spoon and held it before the small monster.
Greenie took it, which was a large mouthful. She chewed slowly and carefully, then swallowed slowly. She sung out again for more.
Sage giggled and tried to minimize the amount a bit more before offering it to Greenie again. She didn't want the mini creature to choke.
The tiny monster set her hands on the spoon as she licked it up, humming happily. She sat back and chewed carefully, humming.
"I guess you probably don't need many of these since you're so small." She remarked. "So perhaps, one more?"
Greenie sat down again her arm, singing out softly and getting comfortable. She shook her head a little and rubbed her tummy.
"Oh, you're full. Alright." She set the can to the side. She'd find somewhere to store the leftovers in a minute. She shifted Greenie in her arms so she rested in the crook of her arm. Sage then looked to Blue. "All good, my friend?"
Blue burped most happily as he chirruped in response, hopping up happily. Greenie purred softly and snuggled into her chest.
"I see you're going to sleep again." She cooed to Greenie. Sage tucked a red strand of hair behind her ear and looked to Blue. "Why don't we go find Werry, hmm?" SHe held out a hand for his.
Blue bumbled over with a series of hoots and coos matching hers. He grabbed her hand excitedly, wiggling in place.
Laughing, Sage led him out of the kitchen. She listened for the rumble of a dryer as she walked in the darkness. "Werry?" She called.
Blue bobbed behind her, still holding one of her hands eagerly. The growl of the dryer greeted her after a few moments of walking, however Werry himself didn't respond.
Sage continued down the hall, her steps now slow. "Werry? You in there?" She stopped when the dryer grew louder.
Werry was hummingnsoftly as he folded knitted clothing that were set out for drying. He turned when his name was called, raising his eyebrows.
"Yes, Sage?"
