(Based loosely off of Undertale and Alphys’ “True Lab” episode from the True Pacifist ending. Because it’s extremely inspiring to me, okay? I will be using the general idea of “life force” in turn for Determination, and monster-like creatures (that resulted after the attempts). I will also be using SOULs though very very loosely.

This explanation is for those who have seen/played Undertale and were wondering where it came from.)

“He was so well known,” A woman remarked to her husband as they crossed over a fine walking path. It led down into what looked like a graveyard. Graves stuck up from the ground like fingers on many large humans. They had faded, unintelligible names written on them.

“I know he was. Let us come from here. We will get hurt.” He looped his arm with his wife’s and continued walking.

They were wrong. He— the poorly scientist— led a sad life. He had bent over his desk for years, years, wasting his life away in search for a second chance. To help those with terminal illnesses live a longer, healthier life! He had found the key to life, an intricate mixture of certain mixtures of chemicals. He tested them immediately on willing subjects, taking them from family in hopes that they would eventually return to them, healthy. Happy.

But the mixture had terrible results. It melted their skin, made them shriek in agony as they were morphed with those of the same illness. They’ve become… monsters. They attacked when hungry. They lashed at the poor scientist with long, skin-colored tentacles or tried to stab him with huge spikes when he neglected to feed them, purely by accident.

He couldn’t let them out. He hastily made up the excuse of “Oh they died before I could do anything” and even made them makeshift graves. He also couldn’t let them out because he had made human nightmares. They were huge, twenty feet long, and depending on the illness, skinny or plump. They had huge, wild and rolling eyes, all varying in color for each of the morphed, disgusting heads on each monster.

He kept his lab in darkness, his huge overground area light for when he dwelled upstairs. It was how the monsters liked it, since the light hurt their eyes.

The monsters soon learned to respect and even like the small scientist. He was not so disrespected and lashed at, unless by accident by one of the larger monsters.

Some are small, since one or two might’ve been in that area, but the biggest ones were that of heart disease, lung diseases and cancers. They were the most horrifically disgusting, with limbs of all shapes, sizes and even ages. Some were wrinkled and aged along the back, front, sides of the thing, others were adult, man, woman, child… all along these things that dwelled within his lab. They were all a pale-ish color, though they all had different ethnicities. Their eyes were all over their bodies, and their legs were lost in the mess of lumpy organs on the squishy inside of the broad-chested girth of the poor monsters. They just had heads, barely a hair, and eyes.

Then, about ten years later, someone wandered along with a few friends on a hiking trail. Their friends have turned back away from the large, seemingly abandoned mansion with a “DO NOT TRESPASS” sign out front. Well… let’s just say that they trespassed, and never set foot out again.

Roles-

(Okay I just want to say that you do not know what Undertale is in order to join this, I was just stating where the idea came from)

Alright! I'm ready for all my friends to abandon me! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

My character going into the mansion? And I have a question, he made a fake grave for himself, too?

Deleted user

Mm, want me to start? Are we starting with the going inside?

" 'I'll be fine', I said…" she grumbled continued up the gravel pathway towards the large, abandoned mansion. " 'Go on without me…' I told them. Such a freaking idiot."

It had seemed like a cool idea at first, going to check out the old, empty building, for the sake of more excitement then that stupid hike was offering. It was also meant to be a group effort…. That didn't happen either. Sage trudged along the path and up the stairs, paranoia capturing her in a cold embrace. Was just her or had a chill laced the air? Had it gotten darker? Everything seemed more eerie now that she was at the front door. It hadn't seem that way when she saw it from the hiking trail. Sage shook the feeling off as she gripped the doorknob . Go in, see some sights, and get the heck out of here, she told herself

The place was empty so she didn't both knocking before cautiously opening the door. She didn't bother saying "hello" either. She had watched enough horror movies to know that if someone was here, she did not want their hospitality.
