Adrielle smirked at Jane. “You’ll make me?” She asked in a sickly sweet voice, pulling the bracelet off her wrist. “That doesn’t sound very adult-like if you. Aren’t you supposed to be the one we all look up to?” She sneered, moving over to a small bowl, filled with clear liquid. She lit a match and tossed it in, and the liquid burst into flames. Lighter fuel. She dangled the bracelet teasingly over the fire.
Daso didn't even think. He dove at her at breathtaking speed, his fists flying. There was no where for her to run this time. All he wanted to do was hurt her.
Jane pulled out a pepper spray, looking panicked. “Stop it now!” Jake ran inside just in time to see Daso jump.
Adrielle almost didn’t see it coming. When he dove at her, she crashed to the ground, the fire spilling, the bracelet flying from her fingers and landing centimeters from the fire as it inched its way across the wood floor.
Without thinking Jane shot at the fire with the pepper spray while Jake swore loudly,
(Now go do research and see what happens.)
He threw himself to the ground, catching hold of her shirt. He wrapped his fingers around Adrielle's throat. "Touch my stuff again. I fucking dare you."
Gasping for air, Pyro still managed a smug smirk. “If you insist.” She grabbed the bracelet and clenched it in her hands.
"Cool," he snarled, slamming his head into her nose. "Do it again, I'll break your jaw next."
The fire raced up the spray and Jane dropped it in shock. It rolled away from her as the fire grew. Jake’s eyes widened and he dove for it.
Adrielle hissed in pain, but held tighter to the bracelet. “You will now?” She asked, her voice hoarse. Black spots clouded her vision, and she kicked at him, desperate for air.
Keeping one hand firmly on her throat, he brought up his other hand and punched her in the jaw. Again. And again. And again. Smoke rolled into his vision, burning his eyes. "Put down my shit," he snarled.
Jake grabbed the pepper spray before the kids could get it and ran for the fire extinguisher. “Jane!” he shouted, breaking her out of her trance, “Get them apart!”
“Shit, is it?” Adrielle spat out a mouthful of blood in his face. “Shit is trash. And trash deserves to be thrown out.” She reaches her hand for the fire, which was rapidly spreading. The one with the bracelet in it.
(Jake: sees two kids killing each other)
(jake: uhh jane stop them)
(Oh my gosh that is so terrible and great!)
"Don't!" he screamed, slamming his elbow against her jaw. "Give it back! Give it back!"
Jane dove at them, shoving them away from the fire as Jake sprayed the floor with the extinguisher, covering the floor in foam.
Adrielle gave a loud, blood curdling shriek as pain exploded along her face. She dug her nails into his wrist, the one around her throat, and let go of the bracelet. It fell as if in slow motion, towards the fire.
Jake dropped the extinguisher and grabbed Daso. Jane took Adrielle and they yanked the two apart.
"No! No!" he fought his way back towards the fire, his hand diving into the flame. He screamed as the burns snaked up his wrist. He retrieved a burned, charred pile of frayed rope. All that remained of his bracelet. "No!"
“Damnit!” Jake yelled, kicking Adrielle in the ribs, “Look What you’ve done!”
Jane gazed at him in shock. “Jake!”
