"Small place down on 21st street, I hope you like Italian food."
"Small place down on 21st street, I hope you like Italian food."
"Yeah, Italian food is great."
They were sitting at the restaurant when Kai asked her, "So..you said you were in a band?"
(Okay, so I made a mistake and thought that I had responded, but I guess not and I am so sorry for my silly mistake…)
"Um…yeah I am. We don't really play a lot of gigs yet though. Right now we're just working on writing music and getting better at playing covers." Eve responded with a smile. "What types of things are you into?"
(lol its fine i do that sometimes too)
"Uhh..I sing a little but i'm not that good. I played soccer in high school, but not good enough to play in college." He chuckled a bit.
(okay, I feel a little better about that now. I'm still very sorry though…)
"Oh, I'm sure your not actually that bad. You seem like someone who can sing." Eve smiled, "And I used to love playing soccer with the YMCA. Maybe we should play sometime." She offered with a laugh.
(its fine really :)
"If you want to lose." He grinned.
"Oh, is that a challenge I hear?" Eve joked, grinning back at Kai.
“Perhaps it is.” He laughed a little shyly.
"Well, I was a pretty good player in 6th grade, just to warn you." She laughed with him.
"Well it's not middle school anymore is it?"
"No, I guess it's not, is it?" Eve smiled, "But that still doesn't mean you'll beat me!" She challenged once more, sticking her tongue out at Kai playfully.
"I think it does, but enough of me showing off my amazing soccer skills." He laughed. "How's school going for you?"
"Pretty great. How's it been going for you?"
“Tiring. But it’s college so I don’t know what I expected.”
"What is that so true?" Eve laughed
"I was under prepared." He laughed as well.
"I thought I was going to be over prepared but I was sadly mistaken." She continued.
"Yeah, cause you prepare for all the little things but then you don't realize you'll be studying until 1 am and drinking gallons of coffee a day."
"I think I spend more money of coffee than anything else."
"Exactly! And it's so goddamn expensive." He sighed.
"I hate how much I have to pay for a simple little coffee. They're way too expensive." Eve scoffed.
Kai nodded, laughing a bit. "Why are we ranting about coffee again?"
"I'm not even sure anymore." Eve giggled and ducked her head a little bit, embarrassed about her 'coffee rant.'
"I'm glad we're doing this." He smiled, blushing a bit.
