I glanced at my clock on the nightstand and saw it was time to wash up for dinner. Slowly, I got up from my bed and tucked my locket onto my pocket. I grabbed a change of clothes, knowing my parents wouldn’t approve of what I was wearing now. They would like I didn’t look ‘professional enough’. I changed into a pair of khakis and a collared shirt. A frown appeared on my face as I looked at my appearance in the mirror. I looked too average. I hated it.

I was peeling potatoes one time, and accidentally scraped myself with the peeler.
