"Hm, no. Do you guys have to work today… do I even have a job anymore?" Oliver muttered the last part, he had disappeared for months, assumed dead, he probably didn't have his job anymore. It wasn't a perfect job, but he enjoyed it, he got to draw and help design stuff.
" you may still have a job, I work every midnight to whenever I want to close and jackass here is a freelancer." Solace said, pestering callum
"I disapeared for months..and worked at an actual company, like ties and suits guys. Im just an colormancer, but I still had to dress noice and … absence wasn't accepted, very tight ship" Oliver pulled at his fingers anxiously.
"I'm very sure that saying you were abducted by the fae would get your job back though," he said chuckling slightly as he did
Oliver whined softly, "but that means I'd have to talk to the boss people…and they always have such judgy looks". He huffed and climbed onto Callum's lap. "You've been quiet?"
Callum shrugged, " not feeling the greatest today, just enjoying the snuggles."
"Have something on your mind?" Oliver asked innocently, ignorant to Callum's inner termoil about killing Oliver.
Callum winced but didn't answer, his skull control was killing him, replaying the sound of Ollie choking on his human syrup, the shots of the rooty tooty point-n-shooty. His body started shaking as his skull control took over. Flashbacks cause him to phase out of what seems like real time and back into the situation from the start. He felt his body curl into an almost fetal position, as his skull control relapsed, *bang, crunch, and the choking sounds as the branches broke under Ollie. The smell of the dried human syrup and dead deer so families in his nose. (panik atak)
Callum hadn't realized he was sobbing, just now coming out of the horrible relapse. Solace stood over him and he gripped the man's hand. Something happened in those woods, and it fucked callum up. This was his third panic attack in the last a fortnight. It callum would never tell solace what had triggered them, only that he was alright and that he would be fine.this wasn't fine. This was heavy trauma.
Oliver was scared, he had not seen Callum like this before. Hadn't witnessed a panic attack from an outside view, he had had some in the past, mostly when school was bad, but he hadn't in a few months, and seeing Callum like this was making him freak out a bit.
'Its my fault, I asked him, I pushed him…'
He took a deep breath, trying to remember the things orbit parties of therapy taught him, he couldn't freak out now, not when Callum was having an attack, Solace would be stuck trying to help them both, and Oliver didn't want to put that on him.
He looked at Callum with tear filled peepers, a small pain in his back and on the back of his head, where the scars are, as if his body was reacting to Callum's flashbacks.
Solace was able to pull Callum out of the attack, gently loving on the smaller and making small gushing sounds. He rocked Callum gently, making small hu shes and running his fingers through the smaller hair. " its okay, Callum. Ollies is back now… He's okay.." He said softly, looking up atOlliee with a worried expression
Oliver was gripping his own arms with his hands, his nails digging into his arms as he tried not to panic from worry. He had never seen Callum like this before.
"ollie heck be okay, i promise. i don't think I could handle both of you at once " solace said tiredy
Oliver nodded and tried to keep himself calm, choosing to go over and press his face into Solace's back. "I'll be ok" He said softly, letting Solace focus on Callum.
solace, could feel his heebie jeebies rise with the two others. " why don't we all try to relax in our own rooms for a bit?" he questioned, letting Callum head to his human containment unit first
Oliver followed Solace, knowing that if he himself was alone, it would lead to panic, he just needed someone to hold him for a bit and he was sure he'd be fine.
solace sighed " cuddles?" he asked as he went back to his human containment unit. grabbing his waystation(no copyright here lol) controller
Oliver nodded and practically crawled onto Solace, "im sorry I was gone for so long…" he said softly, knowing he was missed, but himself not having lost time.
“ its okay Ollie. You couldn't have known..” he said softly
"Is callum gonna be ok?" Oliver looked up at Solace, worried about their other roomate.
"i… I don't know, he's been like this since you didn't return.. whatever happened, really fucked him up.." doubt crept into solaces mind. What happened, what made a strong man like that cave? All he wanted to know was how he could help his friend, but Callum was locked up tight, maybe they'd never know…
Oliver looked at Solace saddly, "I wish he would tell us, then we could help…I hate seeing him like this". Oliver pouted, he loved his roomates, he himself didnt know if it was just friendly, or something more…and it hurt to see them struggle. He sighed and started to fall asleep.
solace sighed as well "he's always been like that, you know this," he said softly, pulling the blanket onto both of them.
"I thought he was starting to like us…trust us" Ollie muttered as he falls asleep.
"thats what we all thought.." solace said, patting the others back to put him to sleep
Oliver fell asleep on Solace, thankfully not dreaming.
