You woke up in the woods with no memory of what happened, and go home to find your friend, and roomate, looking at you as if you were a ghost.
How did they see your injuries? Were they the killer?
Ok, so this kinda just popped into my head, not sure if I want the roomate to be the bad guy, or it to be that the roomate was acting in self defense bc the other guy was trying to kill them.

(I kinda have the idea of the song called white winter hymnal I think, basing a killer who targets campers out in the winter, and the only thing they hear before they die is the killer singing the song, as their soul fades so do the song but when the fae revived the man it was engraved on his back and part of his neck to remember the killer. But because it's on his back and stuff only other people can see it (cause looking at your back in a mirror is hard as hell, I know I have a spinal tattoo, ) whoever the killer is, whether its a roommate or someone else, can see it)

(Fare, honestly I’ve been playing this little monster coffee thing game, idk what its called. Its really cool and I thought that could be a secondary plot point behind it. Like the person who figures it out could be the barista after overhearing the murderer's phone call. And like he doesn't think much of it until the dead person ( a very regular customer of his and maybe a closer point of interest to the barista) becomes a missing case and the day before he goes to tell the police before having enough evidence the missing person walks back into the cafe,)

(Ok so, I had great creative flow just now. So. Plot update. Characters A, B, and C. Ok. A died, B killed, C is the like barista who knows. A went missing for a few weeks, but B said that A told B that A was going camping. Ok. In reality, B had killed A in the woods and threw his body into a like pit, off a cliff thing. A shows up back at his house, where he shares with B. B tells A that he watched him die, then quickly covers up that it was a hiking acident. Then the go to cafe thing. Where C sees them)
