Soon, Finn was in the doorway, silently watching. I wanna help her… he thought, pouting.

Winnix approached Finn after being at the house a while. "Are you a hero? Can you teach me to be a hero?"

Aella broke down. She had her mother
She. was. right. there.

She looked up slowly, and jumped when she saw the 2 children standing in her door frame
she thought she left the door closed.
"please go" she whispered
"please leave me alone"

Finn bites his lip, thinking for a moment. Then…he decided to do the most dangerous thing he will ever think of. He ran over to Allea, and hugged her.

The small boy stayed silent. His thought process? Hugs always comforted him…so…maybe it would help her…

Aella was taken back by the sudden gesture, but slowly melted into the boys hug.
crying into his shoulder, they stayed like that the whole night.

(goodnight) Winnix backed up, deciding she would ask again later.

Finn stays quiet besides the occasional quiet, “It’s ok…”

He nuzzles close to Aella, closing his eyes. It worked at least. She just needed a hug. She just needed a friend. Someone to be there with her. Just like he did. Later he’d go try to socialize with the other girl, but for now, he needed to take care of this one.

Aella sniffles,
"Its o-okay, go, ill be fine"
'i wont be fine' she thinks to herself
'never again will i be fine…'

Finn shakes his head, holding onto her. “I know you wont be…when I’m sad, I don’t like being alone. And when I am alone when I’m sad, I just feel even more sad…so I wanna give you more cuddles.” He looks up at the woman.

Aella looks down, and smiles softly at the little boy
"go, i think your friend is waiting for you"

He pouts. “Just a little more cuddles? Please?”

Aella looks down and raises her eyes at the little boy
"fine. but only one more minute"

He smiles and nuzzles closer, closing his eyes. 1 minute turned to 5, then 5 minutes turned to another hour without the both even realizing.

Aella woke up with a start, and looked down to see Finn clinging onto her for dear life.
she needed to get up, but didn;t know how to without waking the boy.
her efforts failed however, as the boy slowly opened his eyes…

Finn rubs his eyes, looking up at her and smiling sleepily. “Hi…” he mumbles quietly.

Aella smiled back
"Hi Finny dear"

He yawns, nuzzling closer. “Sleepy…” he mumbles.

He slowly closes his eyes again, too tired to keep his eyes open.

Aella laughs, and slowly starts stroking Finn's hair, and starts singing a lullaby

Soon, Finn is fast asleep. A small smile spread across his lips. He squeaks softly, looking extremely comfortable.
