Okay! I might be a little busy the next couple of days, but I will try to be on some so we can at least work out the details of what we want to do.

Did you have any characters or settings in mind?
I'm basically good with anything except slice of life type stuff.

to be honest, not really
i'm down for whatever, I was thinking maybe a mafia type thing, like one character is running from a mob boss, and the other is the mob bosses son/daughter, but doesn't like their parents lifestyle at all, so they always express this, and the character on the run, asks the mob bosses kid for help, because they know they hate the fact that their parent (father or mother, which ever you prefer?) lives like that, so they agree to help and y'know it can go from there (friendship, romance idrc-)

But I would be down, I'd just have to mix it up by using a different character and different backstory and all that

Uhhhh, I gotta think. Idea machine is broken 90% of the time.
We could always try something angsty and fantasy, like a royal and their bodyguard/retainer, or a pair of knights, or something like that.
Or we could do an assassin and their target.

Yeah, it depends on the type of angst.
I feel like the knights would probably end up being more hurt/comfort kind of stuff, and the royal one would be closer to forbidden lovers.

Okay, I came up with an idea to sort of combine the two!
Maybe a royal who has inherited a war from their parents that they don't want to fight (and this is also in a medieval nation where it's commonplace for a monarch to go to battle as well).
They've tried to make peace, but things are rough. And they have a retainer/general/something like that whom they are very close to.
This gives us room for doing both hurt/comfort and forbidden lovers ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€

Name/any nicknames: Adrien Scalamandes
Age: 17
Gender/pronouns: male / he/him
Sexuality: he thought he was straight, but currently questioning
Personality: honestlyโ€ฆhe's a real soft and sensitive boy, which is frowned upon by some people, so he tries to hid it by seeming selfish, relentless and such. But in reality Adrien is sensitive, kind, and very feminine.
Appearance: mid height 5'9, with a lean and lanky build, his skin is milky and pale, with freckles spread in the main spots that consist of cheek to cheek, his shoulders and his knee's; he has bright aqua green eyes, the color varying from light blue to emerald green. His features are sharp and persistent, his cheekbones high and defined, along with his jawline. He had short (ear length) light blonde, sometimes appearing darker hair, that is fluffy and slightly curls at the ends.
Background info (doesn't have to be a lot, just the basics): Adrien's father, Theodore the second died a couple months ago, leaving his mother; Giselda, and older sister; Ria, in shambles. Though Adrien was never close with his father, because his father never approved of Adrien's feminine and sensitive ways, looking down upon Adrien as a disappointment, so Adrien was less than happy to find his father had left a war for him to figure out what to do with, leaving him to figure out how to defend his kingdom; Sunstasia, from the fellow kingdom; Quellestion. All while feeling alone, lonely and helpless.
Outfits: usually royal white, when in formal attire, though he will wear a regular long sleeved button up shirt, matched with brown pants and dress shoes.
Hobbies/talents: gardening
Weaknesses: he has a fear of failing and disappointing people, which can get to him quite often.
Weapon of choice: a silver sword, the handle encrusted with a golden sun.
Other:

  • Adrien would never admit this but he finds dressing in womens dresses fun and enjoyable
  • he considers his royal guard his friend.

Personality: Sebastian is the outspoken type. They can be a bit flirty, and they're pretty popular with the ladies. Above all, Sebastian strives to be kind and brave, to do his duty no matter the cost. But sometimes that cost is high and he's an absolute dumbass. He's incredibly impulsive at times, especially when it comes to protecting those he loves. And he loves a lot. They also are incredibly determined and hardworking, aware that they got a rough start to life and are always a step behind everyone else.
Appearance: An absolutely massive lad. 6'3, a little on the thickset side- though most of it is muscle, unkempt black curls, piercing amber eyes, has naturally paler skin but is pretty tanned from spending so much time in the sun, a crooked smile, dimples, body is covered in scars
Background info: Sebastian spent the first ten years or so of his life in poverty. He is the fifth out of eight kids, but out of his seven siblings, only four are still living. The rest were lost to disease or malnutrition. His family was pretty close-knit. Sebastian has practiced swordplay and fighting all their life, and they were taken into the royal family after an incident (which we can maybe decide on later???) in which they acted selflessly to protect some noble children, almost at the cost of their own life. After seeing Sebastian's brash, bold bravery and his skills with a weapon, even at a young age, he was taken in for training. They figured he would be a knight of sorts, or perhaps a general, but eventually, he was chosen as a guard for Adrien. Since the war has started, Sebastian has had to protect the royal family from a lot more assassination attempts than he did before.
Outfits: Almost always wearing something in an earthy green color, usually an undershirt. Formal wear is usually a light green button up, gray pants, and tall boots with a patterned cloak. He frequently wears armor as well, which is of a moderate weight- enough to protect him, but not to stifle his movement. Heavier chestplate, light pauldrons, then some plates protecting his forearms and calves. The armor is a tarnished silver in color and has the kingdom crest engraved on the front. He usually wears a bright cape with his armor.
Hobbies/talents: Excellent fighter, good cook (and makes fantastic tea)
Weaknesses: Relatively uneducated, can't read very well; very little sense of self-preservation
Weapon of choice: Broadsword. They don't have a special weapon; they just kind of grab what they can get. Prefers a halberd or other polearm if on horseback.
Other: Significantly nearsighted. Probably needs glasses or some vision aid. They are working partially to give monetary support to their family. They are on good terms with most of the nobles, but some hate to see a poor kid like them rise up in the ranks and "infiltrate" the nobility.

The family:

Faye: Younger sister, 11. Baby, must protect at all costs. Probably too mature for her age because of the family's position, and the fact she already has to do some amount of work. She's very sweet and loves to help others.

Matthieu: younger brother, deceased, would be 13, died at 2

Lavenza: Younger sister, 16. She's one of the closest to Sebastian. Very soft and quiet individual, mom friend. Emotional support sibling. She loves animals, and has also worked very hard on academics like writing and politics, the best she can with the little she has.

Sebastian: 18

Nicolas: older brother, deceased, would be 19. Sebastian was very close to him and never fully accepted his death around 17 years old.

Gatrie: older brother, 21 (twin to Risette). Aside from Lavenza, is the closest to Sebastian. He's very reserved and stoic, and he hides a lot of pain. A very heavily traumatized individual and hides a lot of his problems. He's probably the hardest worker, and will run himself ragged trying to get a job done. He was pretty carefree in his younger years, but he's changed a lot. Sebastian barely considers him the same person he was previously. He seems weirdly keen on getting away from the family, but it's more likely because being with the family dredges up the worst of his trauma.

Risette: older sister, deceased, would be 21 (twin to Gatrie). Died at 8.

Noel: oldest brother, 25. Tired dad energy. He's a good caretaker both by nature and by necessity. Very clever, knows how to get the most out of just about anything. Loves his family, but he worries that he's going to be trapped caring for others forever and will never live for himself.
