"That's probably it." Fen rested his head on Ori's shoulder. "Sorry for being so back and forth on this, I'm sure it can't be fun to deal with."

"It's not so bad." He rested his head against Fen's. "Honestly, I'd be surprised if you weren't a little shaken up, we don't exactly take things in stride the way Archer does."

"No we don't, do we. I really don't know how I managed to capture such an angel. I don't deserve him, really."

Ori rolled his eyes. "Well obviously you do, or he wouldn't have stuck around. He really loves you, Fen."

"I know he does. I just wish I could figure out why." Fen frowned with a huff. What was with him today?

"You're being awfully negative, lovely." Ori frowned too, glancing down at Fen. "Is something wrong?"

"I…I don't know. It's been a long time since I've felt this…bad. I don't know what's going on."

"So this has happened before?" Ori glanced down at him, a small frown on his face. "When?"

"It happened a lot when I was younger. Mainly back home, I could never figure out what caused it. But once I started going out on my own it stopped happening as often."

Ori thought for a moment and then pulled Archer in a little closer, tucking him up against his chest. "Alright. Well if you couldn't figure it out then, I don't know how well we'll be able to figure it out now, but you should know that Archer and I are here for you."

"Thanks, I'll take your word for it." Fen wrapped tighter around Ori, a slight smile tugging at his lips.

Ori pressed a soft kiss to his temple, holding Fen close. "You'd better, sweetheart. I pride myself on being honest."

"Do you ever stick to a single pet name or will I always have to deal with your constant switching between them?"

"They all describe you so well, lovely! How could I stick to just one when there are so many wonderful names that suit you perfectly?"

"Well I think I have one that suits you just fine. Flirty dumbass." He flicked the end of Ori's nose with a sarcastic smile.

Ori wrinkled up his nose as Fen flicked him, a bright smile on his face despite the playful annoyance. "You're so mean to me, Fen!! I'm being nice."

Fen scoffed dramatically. "Mean? I'm not mean! It's just that bullying is how I show my love."

Ori snickered and nuzzled Fen's cheek, peppering his face with soft kisses. "It's totally mean, I just happen to find it charming instead of dickish."

Fen laughed as Ori tickled his face with kisses. "That sounds like a you problem then."

"You're a piece of shit." Ori lit up as Fen laughed, rolling them over a little so he could settle in the healer's lap and playfully pin his shoulders while he continued to shower him with affection. "It's your fault, take responsibility."

His laughter grew louder, playfully wriggling under Ori like he was trying to escape. "Never! You can't make me!"

Ori snickered and pinned him with a little more force, starting to trail soft kisses down his jaw. "Can too! I'm gonna kiss you 'til you give in and start being nice to me!!"

"You're fighting a losing battle but I won't stop you, my foolish compadre." Fen teased with a roll of his eyes.

Ori just laughed and leaned in to give him another kiss, reaching up to cup Fen's face in his hands. "Says the guy who keeps kissing me."

"Says the one who keeps kissing me first." Fen countered with an amused smirk. This was far too much fun for him.

Ori laughed again and leaned in to give him a long, hungry kiss, pulling away with a warm smile. "Are you saying you want me to stop, love?"

"Oh no, of course not. But me returning affection doesn't make me nice, it's simply polite."

"I think it's nice." Ori pulled back a little, smiling warmly down at his boyfriend. "But I suppose you've got a point. Why don't you kiss me this time?"

"But that would mean I concede." Fen pointed out, raising an eyebrow at Ori. "You're trying to trick me but I won't let that happen."

Ori pouted and leaned in a little closer. "C'mon sweetpea, I won't count it as being nice! It'll just be polite, y'know? Like it would be if I asked you to do me a favor or something."
