The two kept at it for a couple minutes before Fen broke away, nuzzling his nose into Archer's neck. "Ori, can you hand me the other plates? I think Fen's found his seat for today and I don't feel like trying to convince him to move."

@callycat

"Of course!" Ori passed the plate over and then settled against Archer's side, leaning in to kiss his cheek again. "What'd you get him? I need to know if I'm gonna steal some or not."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"The house special, Dilena's enchanted waffles. They're actually quite good for you but they taste like deep fried sugar. I can feel my teeth rotting just thinking about it. Because despite his sour personality, Fen has an insatiable sweet tooth."

@callycat

"Of course he does." Ori reached over to ruffle Fen's hair playfully, settling a little closer to Archer's side. "What'd you get yourself?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

Fen glared at the two before digging into his waffles with an indignant huff. Archer kissed the top of his head before answering. "I got pancakes! Mostly because I forgot to figure out what to get for myself and panicked."

@callycat

"Pancakes are good!" He leaned over to kiss Fen too, going from ruffling his hair to carding through it idly while he munched on his breakfast sausages. "Think I can snag half of one though?"

@callycat

Ori smiled and thanked him and tucked into his own meal, making himself comfortable against Archer's side once he was finished.

@callycat

Ori curled up against his side with a warm smile, nuzzling Archer's cheek affectionately. "You know Fen made me beg for kisses while you were gone? He's so mean."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

Archer gasped dramatically. "He didn't!" He looked down at Fen in his lap. "You didn't actually make him beg, did you?" "Well, maybe a little." "Fen!!"

@callycat

"Right?" Ori wrapped an arm around Archer's waist, frowning playfully as he pressed closer to the bard. "It was very cruel. You should get revenge for me."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"How would I do that?" "Stop plotting, you only have three brain cells between you and two of them are off chasing butterflies in a field somewhere." "Hey!"

@callycat

"Yeah, hey!" Ori turned his frown on Fen, though he wasn't sure how convincing it was. His eyes went soft as soon as they landed on him. "We're smart! We're gonna get such good revenge, just you wait."

@callycat

"Then you'll see it soon enough!" He crossed his arms slightly. "But for now we've got planning to do, so stop eavesdropping."

@callycat

Ori sighed dramatically, but it wasn't like he disagreed. He just like kicking up a bit of a fuss. "Only on a technicality." He leaned forward, pecking him on the cheek. "What should we talk about instead, then?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"How about where exactly we're going? As of right now we're just wandering aimlessly and as fun as it is to wear holes in the bottoms of my boots, it doesn't exactly pay."

@callycat

"It might be smart just to stay in town, honestly. If we're looking for a job, we're not likely to find it while we're out on the road. Do you know if there are any adventurers guilds out here?"

@callycat

"True, true." Ori laughed quietly. "You two know her decently well though, right? Like enough to ask her where we might be able to find a job or two?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Definitely! Dilena's pretty nice, she'd answer that even if we didn't know her." Archer jumped in. "Not to mention since we do know her, she'll probably point out the better paying jobs."

@callycat

"Perfect! We'll start the job search today then, and we'll get paid tomorrow or the day after before we start moving on."

@callycat

"I know, I know, but we're good at this." He gave Fen a small smile. "We'll be just fine, I'm already sure of it."

@callycat

"I'm also voting for pessimistic," Ori chimed in cheerfully. "But I don't think that's a bad thing, Fen. You balance Archer and I out."

@callycat

Ori just laughed, curling up by their sides. "You're awfully rude for somebody whose spent the whole morning being spoiled."
