Fen mumbled something under his breath, turning to face Ori and burying his head in the warlock's chest. He just wanted warmth and comfort.
Ori curled around him pretty much immediately, wrapping his arms around Fen's waist and tucking the healer up against his chest. "Yeah, yeah, I suppose I can handle it for tonight. You're spooning me when we wake up though, alright?"
Fen mumbled something again that sounded like it was supposed to be sarcastic if anyone could actually hear it.
Ori just laughed and tugged him in a little closer, pulling the blankets over them as they up together.
(skip?)
(Yeah but to when?)
(very good question, I say either to Archer coming back or to the next morning?)
(Hmm, let's let Archer get in on the cuddle pile before morning)
(Alright, Archer coming back it is then! Could you start please?)
(Not a problem!)
.
By the time Archer came back from his bath, the two were already asleep. He giggled at how cute the pair looked all cuddled up together before climbing in behind Fen, snuggling into him and burying his face in his neck before falling asleep himself.
When Ori woke up he was hanging halfway off the bed, but he didn't have it in him to mind because he had Fen curled up against his chest, still sleeping peacefully despite the fact that Archer had stolen a solid half the bed.
Fen and Archer might as well have been one person considering how close they were, with Archer completely koala gripping Fen. Fen never minded this, he found it nice to have Archer's warmth as he slept, it kept him calm just as it did now.
Watching them still felt wrong somehow, even though Ori was curled up just as close as Archer, Fen squished comfortably between them. They just looked so happy together, so comfortable, and Ori was new enough to the two of them that he couldn't help but feel like an outsider. It wasn't long before he slipped out of bed, carding through his messy curls and making his way to the baths.
Fen whined when Ori left, reaching out to find nothing but space in front of him. Archer whined in response to him, mimicking his boyfriend in action. It was clear, they wanted Ori back in bed, they weren't done cuddling yet.
Ori bit his lip as Fen and Archer whined, making his way over to card through Fen's hair gently in the hopes that Archer would quiet once he did. "Gods," he murmured under his breath, a little exasperated but mostly fond. "You two are just impossible."
Fen reached up and grabbed Ori's hand, pulling it down to his face and snuggling into it, falling quiet as he did which made Archer go quiet too.
Ori huffed out a quiet laugh, running a thumb gently over the curve of his cheek. He didn't bother pulling away once Fen settled, he just sat himself down on the edge of the bed and kept petting him, carding through his hair or gently tracing the curves of his face. "So needy," he teased, voice hopelessly soft. "So sweet."
The two were still dead asleep but Fen did brighten a little at the compliment, even if he wasn't conscious to really acknowledge it.
Ori didn't mind that they were still dozing. He knew he was pretty much talking to himself, no matter how cute it was when Fen went all bright and smilely in his sleep, and he didn't mind. it gave him something to do while he waited for the other two to wake.
Fen yawned softly, his eyes fluttering as he started to stir. He wasn't awake yet but he was starting to get there although Archer was still out like a light.
Ori shook him gently to help him along, leaning over to press a hesitant kiss to his temple. "Wake up, darling. I'm lonely here all by myself."
Fen cracked an eye open, smiling sleepily when he noticed Ori. "Morning." His voice was rough and thick with sleep but at least he could speak.
Ori hummed happily as Fen talked in his morning voice, something warm settling in his belly at the sound of it. He curled up close as Fen smiled, eager to be close again. "Morning! You… ah… you sleep well?"
He nodded slowly. "Very well. Would've been better if you hadn't moved but I guess beggars can't be choosers."
Ori laughed and fitted himself against Fen's back again, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "In my defense, I was trying to take a bath. It wasn't like I was trying to dip out or anything." A minor lie, but he didn't want to disappoint Fen so early into whatever this thing they were doing was.
"No. You stay here until I've had my fill." He pouted slightly, just confirming Archer's words from yesterday that Fen was indeed super cuddly when he was sleepy.
