"Well, what's the point if I don't enjoy it?" Toru was quite content to lay in Logan's lap and be pet, enjoying the free massage.
"And who said anything about taunting you?" Toru didn't seem to mind as his tail curled around Logan's hand, a weak purr coming out.
"Damn right I am…" He let his eyes close a moment, glad their time of worry was up and he could just relax.
Logan shook his head with a breathy laugh, a smirk playing at his lips. He combed through Toru's fur, nudging him under his chin as he detangled some snags. They sat there for a few minutes, enjoying the silence of the living room and the light chatter that came from the kitchen. "He's the one I was talking about." Logan whispered after a bit.
Toru let Logan pet him, still purring as he dealt with the tangles in his fur. He opened one eye to look up at Logan went be spoke, nodding some.
"He's going to be okay," the demon assured. "Just like I promised. In six months, the cancer will be completely gone." The demon shifted some in Logan's lap, gently bumping his head against the human's hand.
Logan closed his eyes and nodded "thank you." He whispered softly, giving Toru an appreciative nudging behind the ears and on his neck as he pressed into his hand. "Hey, no matter what happens between us, I'll always be thankful for this." He smiled softly and pressed a small kiss to the top of Toru's head.
Toru blinked rapidly at the kiss, turning his head up to look at Logan properly.
"You're welcome, Logan," he said, moving to gently bump his head against Logan's chin. He figured this was just how the other was acting because Toru was a cat. They'd go right back to the distance between them before when he went back to his human form.
Logan gently nudged back before glancing into the kitchen, laughing softly and shaking his head. "Hey, less kissing more cooking, I'm hungry!" Logan teased, resting his head in his hand.
Suni stuck his tongue out at Logan. "Come and help then." He said, pressing a kiss to Antonio's cheek before bouncing over to Logan and pulling him out if the chair. "Come on, you and kitty cat here can help taste test."
Toru moved to get back on Logan's shoulders when the other was pulled out of the chair. He was going to take advantage of the free ride for as long as he could, after all. He rubbed his head against Logan's cheek, really putting on a show for Suni and Antonio. He let out a small, adorable mewl, eyes closed as he let out a purr.
Logan chuckled lightly and followed Suninback tto he kitchen, arching an eyebrow at Toru.
Antonio smiled softly and nudged Toru's head "this one has been begging me to get a cat," he nodded towards Suni with a sigh
Logan smirked "you want this one? He's a troublemaker."
"Really? He seems like an angel now. Besides, I don't think they allow cats at our place."
Logan pouted teasingly before nudging Toru's head "it's alright, I think he's growing on me, anyways." He sighed softly and found a spoon to try the sauce they had started making, sneaking a bit of meat to Toru to try
Toru just let out another meow as Logan raised an eyebrow, making himself look all the more innocent. He lightly batted at Logan's face with a paw as he tried to give the demon away, settling down as Logan started to pet his head again. He looked down at the meat, licking it up and chewing a few times before swallowing. It was good, he had to admit.
"how is it?" Suni asked, latching onto Antonio's arm, "I didn't make it so it has to taste decent."
Logan tilted his head with a chuckle "weren't both of you going to cook?"
Sink nodded "yeah, well, kinda. Nio cooks and I provide moral support. After all, they say you can't make good food without a bit if love. He provides the food and provide him.love, and you get food int eh end. It's a win, win, win, situation." He reasoned with an innocent smile.
Toru had to keep himself from rolling his eyes. He nuzzled closer to Logan's cheek, pawing lightly at his cheek to get his attention. He moved to lightly bite the man's nose before licking it, giving him as much of a smirk as he could. Oh, he was having so much fun with this.
Logan nodded in agreement, "they do say that, and by the looks of it, it's working pretty well." Logan tilted his head, glancing over at Toru "want mo-" Logan squeaked as Toru bit then licked him, covering the lower half of his face with his hand.
Suni glanced over and laughed, hiding it in Antonio's shoulder "aw, Lo he gave you a love bite. That's adorable!"
Logan could feel his face warming at the comment and glanced away in embarrassment
"No wonder the little rascal followed you home, he saw all the potential to love you." Suni declared, gently scooping Toru up from Logan's showers and cradling him close.
"Go wash up while we serve dinner, somehow I don't think tacos and cat hair go well together."
Toru let Suni pick him up, tail flicking as he gave Logan a teasing, satisfied look. Oh, he was having so, so much fun with this, it was clear. He didn't care if Logan lectured him later, he was loving this. The demon settled into Suni's arms, keeping quiet for now. He'd promised he wouldn't reveal himself, after all, no matter how much he wanted to remark on these things.
Logan quickly shuffled off to the bathroom to wash his hands and to splash some cold water on his face.
"Now kitty," Suni hopped up onto the counter, holding Toru in front of him. "You seem like a mischeivious little thing. Adorably so. But you have to promise us you'll be good to Logan and take care of him. He gets lonely here. He really needs a cuddle partner and someone to just be there. Especially after last time." Suni sighed softly and places Toru in his lap, gently petted his head. "He worries about us all the time, 'specially me. And of course about Antonio. We need someone to worry about him. You'd be perfect for that." He laughed softly. "You get a good home with a loving person. What more could you ask for?" Suni took a deep breath and gently rested his head against Antonio's shoulder as he came over to pet Toru.
Last time? That got Toru curious. He let out a small meow after Suni mentioned a promise, lifting one paw up to lightly press against Suni's cheek. He'd be taking care of Logan, better than either of these two would be able to understand. He leaned into the petting some, really playing up the friendly cat persona.
Suni breathed a small laugh "thank you kitty cat, it's much appreciated." Suni smiled and straightened, glancing over his shoulder as Logan came back into kitchen, still slightly flushed but looking much better. He hopped back down onto the floor and placed Toru back ontop of Logan's shoulders. "Alright! Time to eat!" Suni bustled around, finding mismatched bowls and forks while Antonio turned off all the stoves and started serving the food in the bowls Suni found, passing them on to Logan to set at the small dining table
Toru settled onto Logan's shoulders as he was set there, gently rubbing his head against the man's neck. He would keep teasing Logan for as long as he could. He watched the others as they sat up to eat, tail flicking and rubbing against Logan's cheek.
Logan tried his best to deal with Toru withought blushing so much, keeping in mind that Toru was more cat now than demon despite that not entirely being true. He occasionally nudged the cat's head or gently moved his tail away from his face for it wouldn't tickle him but never once complained about him acting so affectionate.
He eventually set him down on the ground close to him as they all settled at the dining table. Suni placed a plate in front of Toru full of meat for him to eat before settling in between Logan and Suni.
Oh, Toru wouldn't let Logan forget just who he was when the others left. He was happy with the affection he was giving Logan was well, quite content where he was. He glanced around as he saw sat down on the floor, moving to gently rub his body against Logan's leg, letting out a soft mewl before sitting down with his meat and beginning to eat.
Logan sighed softly and gently nudged Toru with his foot before letting him eat.
"the poor thing is attached to you huh?" Suni notted with a smile.
"You're one to talk, says the one who begged me to carry you around the house for an entire day." Antonio argued with a laugh.
"I was feeling sick! You know how cuddly I get when I feel sick!" Suni whined, looking to Logan for support
Logan raised his hands in innocence "hey, I'm not the one you should be looking to, you and this little furball are one in the same. I'm with Nio on this one, you both are very clingy."
"But not In a bad way right?" Suni asked worriedly
"No, never, it's actually really cute." Logan said softly with a light blush
Toru looked up as Logan mentioned how this was cute. Was he referring to just Suni, or him too? He gave Logan a secret smirk, finishing off his meal before jumping up onto Logan's lap. He made himself quite comfortable, resting his head on Logan's arm.
Logan glanced down and lightly rested his hand on Toru's back, careful to not touch the still healing scratches. "Definaltly clingy." He muttered with a shake of his head, taking a few bites of his food and chatting with Suni and Antonio while still petting Toru.
"so you're going to officially keep him? He's really cute and he seems to really.liek you." Antonio ask.
Logan nodded slowly "yeah I think he can stay. Was thinking of adding a few things to the library so it's his room."
Sink tilted his head "so he won't be in your room?"
Logan paused and slightly shook his head "uhm not for now no, I think I'll let him get used the house first."
Toru had to keep himself from smirking and rolling his eyes, instead, choosing to give Logan another love bite, gently biting his arm and licking the spot. So, the library would be his then? He looked up at the mention of 'getting used to the house first,' tongue stuck out slightly in the ways that always seemed to make cats look more adorable.
Logan sighed softly, pulling his arm away slightly "you love to make things difficult, don't you?" He muttered under his breath so that only Toru heard. He examined the bite marks to make sure it hadn't started to red Before glaring at Toru and his annoyingly adorable face. "You're glad you're cute." He shook his head and returned to talking with Suni, who now was curled up with Antonio in the chair across from him. He truly envied his friends sometimes but at the same time was so happy for them that they could share a love so strong with each other
Toru just gave his secret smirk up to Logan, one paw coming up to lightly press against his face. What, him, difficult? The demon cat let out a meow, followed by his purr. He was glad he was cute- and he'd so be getting Logan back later for this.
Logan gently took Toru's paw and gave him a pointed look "you little feline demon." He muttered, despite himself, nudging back. He'd learn to deal with Toru, both in his demon form as well as his annoyingly adorable cat form. Or at least he hoped. Logan prayed his affectionately adament side was restricted to his cat form.
Toru's purr just kicked up more as Logan took his paw and called him that. He'd have to learn how to deal with Toru, because Toru was going to be acting like this long after he turned back into his demon form. He let out a soft mew, nuzzling close and making a show of how much he cared for the human.
"you're such a pain," Logan tilted his head and tucked Toru under his chin. "I will lock you in the library." He threatened lightly. He help Toru up to his shoulders and stood to clear the table.
"I think we're going to head home, Lo. Suni's getting tired." Antonio said, cradling the other in his arms.
"Am not! Just full. I'm fine!" He whined trying to scramble out of Antonio hold halfheartedly. He huffed a sigh.
Logan laughed softly and gently ruffled Suni's head as he walk by to take the plates. "Get home you two, you both need the rest, me and Toru will take care of things here.
"You mean just you while the cat acts all cute and adorable?" Suni's corrected, wrapping his arms around Antonio's neck.
Toru relaxed around Logan's shoulders, just purring and nuzzling close. He was a pain indeed, and reveled in it. He'd help Logan clean up once the others finally lift, but for now he was perfectly content to be cute and adorable. The demon let his purr pick up, rubbing his head against Logan's cheek.
"you suck up." Logan mumbled, shaking his head. "I'm starting to think you actually enjoy the affection." He teased, rubbing Toru's head.
"Course he does, it's you after all. How could someone not like being that close to you." Suni's chimed in with a smirk.
"Hey I thought you were tired." Logan retorted, throwing a towel at his friend. "At least wipe down the table before you leave."
"Ugh fine mom, didn't know I was visiting my parents when I came here." Suni's pouted, as he scooted off his boyfriend's lap and cleaned the table.
Lo laughed softly and started cleaning g the dishes
