After Roman got ready he met Logan down at the doors to the ball. Roman tugged on his collar. The tux was tight but it had been what the castle had ordered for him so he didn't say anything.
Logan was wearing a dark blue tux with gold star on it and gold bowtie. He looked at Roman's tux and smirked, "Nice tux Little Red Riding Hood."
Roman stuck out his tongue. His tux was a light red and made it so his wings showed. How he hated his wings. Yes they were unique and special but that made it so everyone stared at them instead of actually listening to him.
Patton came running down the stairs.
"WAIT FOR ME!!!"
He had a light blue and light grey tux on
Roman and Logan turned around.
Roman laughed, "Don't worry Pat. We are."
(i'll be on and off because of school zoom. but lets get started.)
Roman hummed to a Disney song as he watched Patton run towards them.
Logan looked at the time and sighed, they were already late but still, he waited.
Roman opened the doors and gasped. It seemed like everyone was there. Now, usually, he loved attetion but recently things had been off for him.
Logan took Patton's arm and led him in.
"Hello everyone!" Patton said, going up to the throne in the ballroom
Virgil scoffed when Roman opened the doors to the throne room and then rolled his eyes when Patton arrived. Honestly, he didn't even know why he had to be at the ball. He was a demon for hell's sake. He shouldn't be with Angels, but yet here they were, one of the days he had to act nice to them. This was going to be a horrible night.
(Funnily enough, I'm currently reading a book about a Demon and an Angel)

Patton sat on the throne
(Nope, some other book. I don't remember the title, I'm horrible with simple things like that. It sucks to be me)
He sighed as he walked around, making his way to Janus. He didn't really give an explanation when he said they all had to come to the ball. Maybe now, he would give at least an explanation.
"Janus, come on, you have to tell me why we're here!"
"Stuff. Like…making sure we're on good terms and other stuff."
Patton saw Janus, and waved
Janus waved back and dragged Virgil to Remus. "Alright, we're going to stay here and be nice. We're going to interact with the others and possibly even with Patton, Roman, and Logan. No tricks, no schemes, okay?"
"Maybe say that last part to yourself, Janus," Remus said with a smirk.
"Wha–oh…uh..haha, very funny."
Roman saw Janus, Virgil, and Remus and without knowing it he started to stray over.
Logan touched Roman's arm and surprised him, "What are you doing? Those are demons and you know it. As princes we are not supposed to associate with them. It would stain our reputation."
Roman scoffed, "I wasn't going over there to talk to them. I was going over to um…." Roman quickly looked around for a excuse, "For a drink!" He walked over to the table with the wine and got a glass. He just stared at it getting lost in his mind.
Patton walked up to Roman.
"Hey kiddo, you okay?" He asked
Roman jumped a little and turned around, "Y-Yeah. Why you asking?" Roman gave a nervous laugh. He pointed over at Logan who was talking to other nobles and generals, "Look at Mr. Diplomatic over there."
"Listen, you may not be as smart as Logan is, but you are smart in your own way, ya know? Don't be spiteful of him."
Roman wiped a tear away and sniffed. He smiled at Patton and rustled Patton's hair, "Thanks Pat. Your smart too you know?" Roman winced as he tried to hide his wings more from the demons.
Logan walked over to Patton and wrinkled his nose at the wine, "Patton? We have the opening dance to start." Logan held out his arms.
"Thanks, bucko." He said, getting the first dance
Logan smiled quickly at the name but hid it. He waltz with Patton humming a little, not caring if Patton could hear.
Roman looked over at the demons and looked at Logan. He was distracted….. So Roman slowly inched over towards them.
Remus and Janus were chatting and Virgil was just standing there, drinking some wine. They had chatted with some of the people at the ball at first but quickly got bored of them. Virgil noticed that Roman was slowly inching towards them, so he slowly inched away from the rest of the Demons.
Roman chugged the rest of the wine and stood next to Virgil, "So…..What are demons like you doing here? I don't have a problem with demons it's just unusual to see some here." Roman said quickly not trying to sound rude.
Logan hugged Patton and let the world around him disappear. It was like that for a couple minutes until he heard a cup drop and he released Patton, "I-I have to go." He walked over to a Lord and started talking with him.
"Where are you going?" Patton asked
