"Bitchy rich kids. School's full of them." Liese sighed softly. She nibbled on the end of her pen, looking down at her paper.
"Bitchy rich kids. School's full of them." Liese sighed softly. She nibbled on the end of her pen, looking down at her paper.
"Yeah but i already expected that. There where a few at some of my old schools. Well one of my old schools. The other ones not so much," She said rambling slightly. "But you're most likely a rich kid and you don't seem too bitchy. There has to be some other nice ones out there."
Liese shrugged a bit. "I just don't like talking." She closed her notebook and sighed again. "People don't like me. I'm fine with it."
"I can see the first part but I don't think the second ones exactly true. I understand though. Didnt have many friends back home." or any. "But can we at least agree to tolerate each other? It would make this year a lot easier."
"Sure…" Liese got up and headed into the bathroom to change into something more comfortable that she could sleep in. She came back out a few minutes later wearing sweats and without makeup on.
Vira nodded content with that answer. she got up after Liese and took a quick shower. She didn't think she was going to be able to sleep tonight but she still got into pajamas. She got out and sat on her bed. Getting out her laptop again and putting in headphones.
Liese curled up in her bed when she returned and closed her eyes. "Go to bed whenever you want… I don't care…" She soon drifted off to sleep.
Vira nodded only ha;f hearing her. She tried going to bed a few hours later bt ended up just laying there. She got up early in the morning and started silently getting ready. She did her makeup and successfully didn't look tired.
Liese awoke early in the morning to get ready for school, getting herself dressed in a new hoodie and jeans before putting on her makeup.
Vira was already ready. Sitting on her desk that she had unpacked some of her personal stuff onto. Like books and the sketchbook she usually puts designs in.
Liese headed out to class soon before the bell rang, holding her journal close to her chest. She settled herself in her desk and immediately began sketching instead of paying attention.
ira left at around teh same time. They both had english but Vira didn't attempt in any small talk just yet. She sat next to Liese again.
Liese glanced up when Vira walked in, but then turned back to her notebook and continued scribbling things down.
The teacher started talking and Vira took notes. Her mind was on the first Robotics team meeting after school. She new her mind was going to just keep drifting to that all day long. (Time skip to after school? Sorry I think I have an idea of how they can connect a bit more)
(Yeah, sure! What's your idea?)
(just her basically haing a little meltdown in their room after the Robotics meeting and she thinks she's alone but Liese walks out of the bathroom or smth)
(Sure!)
Liese headed back to the room a couple of minutes before Vira did and walked into the bathroom.
(Sorry for it being short but y'know lol)
(yeah srry for late reply got bussy)
The robotics meeting didnt go as planned. They used a completely different coding system than her old school, he parts where all brand new instead of recycled and the room was littered with ternament trophies. All of these ira could get used to. What she couldn't get used to was that everyone had macbooks. Her computer was old. She replaced a lot of the parts per the years and updated it herself but it was still cheap and slow. Plus it shut down in the middle of the meeting. She had to lead early. Yet the only sign she gae that she was distressed as she walked down the halls was the death grip she had on her backpack. She opened the door of their room and walked in. The confident smile immediately dropping once she realized the room was empty. A sob escaped her lips as she sat down on the bed.
Liese came out of the bathroom a minute later and was confused to hear Vira crying. Her chest tightened and she glanced around, unsure what to do. She'd never really had to comfort someone before, and she didn't exactly know how to do it. "Uhm… Vira…?" She asked tentatively. "You good?"
Vira froze when she heard Liese. She kept her eyes on her own lap and took a deep breath. "Y-Yeah I'm fine all good," She lied shaking her head. her voice cracking. She bit the inside of her cheek to try and stop another sob. bringing a band up to her mouth.
"Well… you're obviously crying, so…" Liese said awkwardly, toying with her hair a bit. "Unless that's something you like to do for fun, I'm guessing you're not good. But if you want me to leave, I'll just… uh… go…"
Vira took a deep breath and shook her head. “No its fine just… but home sick,” she said only partly lying.
"Mm… I, uh… never really had a problem with that." Liese sat down on her bed, still seeming nervous and uncomfortable. "I don't like home much, so I don't exactly miss it very often…"
Vira noded and calmed down a little bit. "Yeah. I wasn't really expecting to miss it. Im missing my school a more than actual home," She explained. "Even though I hated it there and was counting down the days…. but like you said rich bitches."
"Yeah…" Liese was quiet for a bit as she fidgeted with her hands. "If you supposedly hated it, why do you miss it? I hate home and I don't miss it in the slightest."
Vira shrugged. "Dont know. I miss my old robotics team and oh god the teachers here give so much more homework. I gess." She cut herself off and finished with a shrug. Deciding she already complained too much. "Tehre has to be something you miss about home. Like your own room or something."
Liese shrugged a bit. "I'm used to the rooms here. I don't mind being away from my own. And besides, it's worth it to be away from my parents… they're assholes just like the rest of the people here…"
Vira nodded. "Yeah I feel you. My family is well complicated." She leaned on the wall touching her bed and sigh. "I don't know. I probably just need time to adjust."
"Yeah, you'll get over that. I've been here for a while…" Liese sighed softly. "Sucks at first, but it's fine."
Vira nodded. "That makes sense." She stood up. "Thanks. by the way." Her voice was low and she walked into the bathroom.
