@Spider-man
Vira shook her head. "I'm not. Like I said at least you went up there and presented." She sonded genuine.
Vira shook her head. "I'm not. Like I said at least you went up there and presented." She sonded genuine.
"It's not like I'm exactly given any choice, you know… if I were allowed to not do it, I wouldn't."
"Yeah I knw but still. I dont know why teachers force it. A few of my old teachers made it optional." She looked up at the tree.
"God, I wish…" Liese sighed. "I'd never present anything again. It's honestly like, my least favorite thing."
Vira nodded again. "Yeah. You ould probably try talking tot eh teacher next time. Try to give you a different option."
"I've tried. The teachers here don't exactly care." Liese ran her fingers through her hair a bit.
"That doesnt sound good. Especially since you are literally paying to go here," She said straightening her back.
"Mhmm… they're paid to teach, not paid to care." Liese sighed softly to herself. "They get paid pretty well, at least."
"I guess so. My old teachers werent paid a lot so some of them didn't really teach or care," She said picking her notebook back up and writing something down.
"Mm…" Liese fell quiet for a bit, keeping her eyes closed. "I hate this place, but I hate the alternative more…"
She nodded. "That makes sense kinda. I dont hate it here just yet. Yesterday was… a mess but other than that it hasn't been bad," She said checking the time.
"Don't worry, you'll hate it soon enough…" Liese sighed. "The bitchy rich kids will get to you eventually."
She shrugged. "Probably but I'm just going to try not to think about that for now. Wnjoy myself while I can." Plus I cant be the only one here on a scholarship.
"Yeah, I guess. I'm heading back to class." Liese got to her feet and grabbed her notebook before walking off.
Vira nodded standing up. "Same I'll see you in our room later." She gathered her things and walked in the other direction.
Liese headed to her next class and sat down, ready to not pay any attention. After all her classes were over, she returned to the room.
Vira showed up to the room only a few minutes after. She looked calm today. She say down on her bed and started working on her laptop.
Liese glanced up when Vira walked in, but otherwise didn't acknowledge her. She returned to her homework.
"Hey are you working on English? I hate this assignment," She said sitting on her bed. "How are we supposed to interpret things about a character that has two lines."
"Read into the two lines way more than anyone ever should." Liese sighed softly. "Speaking Mannerisms, all that shit…"
"I hate english," she said falling back onto the bed. "Gie me any math problem and I can solve it in seconds." She mumbled that and took out her homework. "Thank you though. I guess that gie me a place to start."
"I hate all of it…" Liese sighed. "You get used to the absurd amount of work here eventually, though."
Vira nodded. "I guess it makes sense. the teachers here know you probably don't have a life since you are like living at school."
"Mhmm…" Liese scribbled down another answer, resting her head on her free hand. "Very little free time."
Vira nodded. "Yeah but thats something I'm use too." She sat up lenaing on her wall.
