(Sure!)
Liese headed back to the room a couple of minutes before Vira did and walked into the bathroom.
(Sorry for it being short but y'know lol)
(yeah srry for late reply got bussy)
The robotics meeting didnt go as planned. They used a completely different coding system than her old school, he parts where all brand new instead of recycled and the room was littered with ternament trophies. All of these ira could get used to. What she couldn't get used to was that everyone had macbooks. Her computer was old. She replaced a lot of the parts per the years and updated it herself but it was still cheap and slow. Plus it shut down in the middle of the meeting. She had to lead early. Yet the only sign she gae that she was distressed as she walked down the halls was the death grip she had on her backpack. She opened the door of their room and walked in. The confident smile immediately dropping once she realized the room was empty. A sob escaped her lips as she sat down on the bed.
Liese came out of the bathroom a minute later and was confused to hear Vira crying. Her chest tightened and she glanced around, unsure what to do. She'd never really had to comfort someone before, and she didn't exactly know how to do it. "Uhm… Vira…?" She asked tentatively. "You good?"
Vira froze when she heard Liese. She kept her eyes on her own lap and took a deep breath. "Y-Yeah I'm fine all good," She lied shaking her head. her voice cracking. She bit the inside of her cheek to try and stop another sob. bringing a band up to her mouth.
"Well… you're obviously crying, so…" Liese said awkwardly, toying with her hair a bit. "Unless that's something you like to do for fun, I'm guessing you're not good. But if you want me to leave, I'll just… uh… go…"
Vira took a deep breath and shook her head. “No its fine just… but home sick,” she said only partly lying.
"Mm… I, uh… never really had a problem with that." Liese sat down on her bed, still seeming nervous and uncomfortable. "I don't like home much, so I don't exactly miss it very often…"
Vira noded and calmed down a little bit. "Yeah. I wasn't really expecting to miss it. Im missing my school a more than actual home," She explained. "Even though I hated it there and was counting down the days…. but like you said rich bitches."
"Yeah…" Liese was quiet for a bit as she fidgeted with her hands. "If you supposedly hated it, why do you miss it? I hate home and I don't miss it in the slightest."
Vira shrugged. "Dont know. I miss my old robotics team and oh god the teachers here give so much more homework. I gess." She cut herself off and finished with a shrug. Deciding she already complained too much. "Tehre has to be something you miss about home. Like your own room or something."
Liese shrugged a bit. "I'm used to the rooms here. I don't mind being away from my own. And besides, it's worth it to be away from my parents… they're assholes just like the rest of the people here…"
Vira nodded. "Yeah I feel you. My family is well complicated." She leaned on the wall touching her bed and sigh. "I don't know. I probably just need time to adjust."
"Yeah, you'll get over that. I've been here for a while…" Liese sighed softly. "Sucks at first, but it's fine."
Vira nodded. "That makes sense." She stood up. "Thanks. by the way." Her voice was low and she walked into the bathroom.
"Mhmm." Liese started on her homework when Vira left the room, sighing softly to herself. I'm awful at this…
Vira came out a few minutes later looking a lot calmers. She sat down on her bed and pulled out her now broken lapti and her little case of tools.
"Less homesick now?" Liese asked, flipping the page of her homework so she could keep working on it.
Vira nodded. "A bit." She didn't look up from her laptop. This might actually be a good distraction.
Liese nodded as well and returned to her work, figuring that she didn't need to talk anymore now that Vira wasn't crying.
Vira stayed focused. Occasionally glancing over at Liese. She actually slept that night but not until really late.
Liese went to bed early, as per usual. She huddled up under the covers and fell asleep soon after.
Vira woke up after only a few hours of sleep. Getting ready just like she did before.
Liese got ready quickly in the morning, gathered her things, and headed off alone to her first class.
Vira left shortly after. Sitting down in her usually seat beside Liese. They ahere going to have to present their projects.
