Liese nodded and turned her attention back to the teacher, tapping one foot on the ground. She nibbled on the end of her pen as she thought, sighing softly.
Liese nodded and turned her attention back to the teacher, tapping one foot on the ground. She nibbled on the end of her pen as she thought, sighing softly.
Vira nodded and looked back at teh teacher. She glanced at the other girl from the corner of her eyes a few times but then she stopped herself and focused on the teacher. She told herself that she wasn't going to catch feelings on anyone this year. Especially not her roommate that rarely talks to her.
Eventually, the class ended and Liese headed out to the courtyard. She had a free period and intended to spend it alone. It was a nice day, after all, and there was a big willow tree just waiting for her to sit beneath it.
Vira wondered the campus for a little bit just to make sure she knew where all her classes where. When she was done she still had half of her free period left. She walked to the court yard and saw Liese. "Hey mind if I sit with you?" She asked.
Liese closed her eyes tiredly, really not wanting to have company, but also not wanting to cause any fights or anything. "Yeah, sure…" She sighed, burying her face in the novel she'd brought with her so that she had an excuse to keep quiet.
Vira sat down and leaned on the tree. Taking out her notebook and writing some things down. (Tiem skip to after school?)
(Yeah probably)
Liese headed back to Vira and her shared room after her last class ended, flopping down on her bed so she could begin to do her homework.
Vira walked into the room not long after. "Hey want to start that project soon?" She asked sitting on her bed. "It seems pretty easy so it shouldn't take too long."
"Sure." Liese sighed and reluctantly sat up. She might as well get this over with so she could go back to her other work. She slipped off of her bed and stretched.
Vira stood up and grabbed her notebook and laptop. She sat on the floor close to the middle of the room. "Ok I already have a few Ideas," She said.
Liese sat quietly beside Vira, just allowing the other girl to talk for now. She toyed with the edges of her sleeves a bit, seeming to be a little uneasy.
Vira explained her idea. "Also I think a slide show could work out for this. Do you have any ideas?" She asked trying to get the other girl to speak up.
Liese shrugged a bit. "You could just share the presentation and we can collaborate on it…" She replied softly, pulling her laptop over so she could open it up.
Vira nodded and shared it with Liese. Typing into her computer. The project is to get to know the other person an make a slide all about them. "So maybe we can ask each other questions. Basic things like favorite colors," Seh suggested.
Liese sighed softly and nodded. She definitely wasn't looking forward to this project. "Maybe we can just fill out our own information." She suggested. That would definitely require her to talk less…
Vira nodded. "Sure thats fine," She said shrugging. "If you need any help coming up it things though let me know." She looked back at her laptop.
Liese nodded a bit and climbed back onto her bed with her laptop, beginning to fill out her own slide with some basic information about herself. She wasn't going into much detail, which wasn't really surprising.
Vira leaned against her bed still sitting on the floor. She set up her slide. Writing her faorite things, where she was from and that was basically it. Seh didn't want to get into detail. Wehn she was done she took a glance at Liese's slide.
On Liese's slide, she had written that she liked reading and being alone. She also mentioned that she enjoyed Beatles' songs and Ramen noodles. Other than that, she didn't go into anything personal.
Vira read it over. "Ok this looks good," she said nodding. "I think we might be done. Might just touch it up to make it look nice." She rambled slightly changing the theme and colors.
"Alright…" Liese yawned a bit and returned to her other homework while Vira edited the theme and such. She tucked her bangs behind one ear to get it out of the way.
Vira nodded and editing it a it. She didn't have alot of other homework. Getting most of it done during lunch. "So since we are roommates mind sharing your number?" She asked. "Like incase one of us gets locked out or something."
"Yeah, sure…" Liese scribbled out her number on a slip of paper and slid it over to Vira on the bedside table. "There." She returned back to her homework and sighed.
Vira took the paper and put it into her phone. "Hey so you have my number" She texted to Liese before putting her phone down and lookign back at her computer.
Liese glanced down at her phone and put Vira into her phone as a contact before texting back.
Yep.
She stuck her phone back into her pocket so she could continue with her homework.
Vira checked her phone when she got the text but just smiled and put it down. She got bore of the silence after awhile. "So have you gone here all of highschool?" She asked.
"Mhmm. Parents send me off." Liese replied shortly, scribbling down something else on her homework. "Don't like kids much."
Vira nodded. "that sucks," She said sounding sincere laying back on her bed. "Not the worst place they could send you though ha?" She was half joking looking over at Liese.
Liese shrugged a bit. "Guess not…" She kept writing. At least she'd be done with this soon… "Not the best either…"
Vira nodded. "All schools hae something wrong with them. Anything I should be warned about?" She closed her laptop completely not focused.
